    Was great for about 7 months, then one day it just crapped out, and LG wouldn't honor their 1 year warranty. Fortunately my local Best Buy store stepped up and took it back.

    Died in 8 months very light use

    I built this unit into a cabinet with trim kit. STOPPED working in 8 months. Hard to get service to come to repair. After six robot chats that did NOTHING i got a live person who did create a case #. Still not working. Poor service

    I have had problem with the unit already. You have to slam the door shut or you get a error message that said "door"

    Door opener switch stopped working

    Product completely dead in 10 months!

    The product died completely within 10 months of purchase. Nothing turns on. Burnt plastic smell inside. Power chord is fine outside and the power outlet has power (it was not a circuit breaker issue). Microwave panel does not display anything - not even an error code. R.I.P.. It is important to note that many people post reviews within a month of purchase which skews the rating on the products in general.

    Button broke in 2 years

    Button broke in 2 years, I replaced my 9 years old GE. I regret this thing is not what is says. "Inverter" what the heck is that I dont see any difference. They can put autonomous cooking sticker too only if it changes anything. I have is for 3 years now, the button broke I am using glue stick to open it now. I want to throw it to trash but my wife likes to keep it. I am hoping for it to blow up so I Can throw it.

    Not Happy with the LG Microwave at all

    The sensor technology does not work. It burns popcorn with the popcorn menu item. Food reheats unevenly. I thought the sensor technology was supposed to ensure the food was heat evenly. I am going to take it back. It is 1200 watts and takes longer to heat and cook food than my old Kenmore. Will not buy another LG microwave.

    Already Broken

    Just bought 11/18 worked ok for awhile only button delay at times and uneven heating for certain items. Then blew a dedicated breaker. Plugged into another outlet different breaker flipped. First breaker has to be replaced.

    Microwave does not heat up evenly anymore. It’s expensive to last a short life. Now I have to be turning the food and mixing up to 3 times before you can get what you want from a small plate.

    Don’t waste your money on this microwave. I have had this unit just over a year and it has stopped heating. The unit never was that great to begin with. It never really did hear thing up properly. Now that it’s not hearing in back in the market looking for a new one. It won’t be an LG.

    Complete Junk

    Not even 2 years old and deader than a door nail. I’ve never had a microwave die this fast before, our Sharp brand we had before this one lasted 10 years before it died. Don’t waste your money or make sure you at least get the warranty.

    Stops Heating

    Purchased the microwave in Sept of 2022. It stopped heating in December (3 months). Contacted LG support for repair and all I received was a link to random YouTube videos for self-help. I have purchased many appliances from best buy both personally and for rental properties. Will never purchase LG again.

    DO NOT BUY THIS!

    Purchased this unit on September 2019. By May 2020, it stopped heating. Everything worked except it would not heat. Called LG and they approved a refund for a replacement unit. Purchased the exact same unit from Best Buy on May 14, 2020, within 30 days, the replacement unit also started doing the same thing excet now it would make a clicking noise. It will not heat up the food. While LG Customer service is good, this product is definitely not!

    Zero stars. Bad out of the box. I have never been a fan of LG appliances and this experience was no exception. We have just finished the remodel of our kitchen which was very delayed due to COVID 19. It was very disappointing then to unbox the brand new microwave only to have it not work. It makes some fizzy electric sound and the lights on the panel blink. Sounds like you’re microwaving a fork. Can’t figure out how to get a refund or a fix. So until this is resolved I give it no stars and would not recommend to anyone.
