Don't waste your money!!

Bought April 2019 it's now Oct 2021 and we need to replace it already. We both work full time outside the home, was hoping it would last at least 5 years. Buy the "Best Buy" extended warranty you will need it for this microwave!! Don't waste your money!!

DISAPPOINTED SOUTH ELGIN

South Elgin staff was rude and offered no assistance. LG said would refund but no response in two weeks. So I bought a Samsung for Thanksgiving and will return on their face after and go else where with my business. I am elite member and have spent thousands of dollars not for Crappy service. This is strike three bestbuy.

LG is no help since it's out of warranty. Was great when it worked, but with a 14 month lifespan, I'll never buy another LG microwave, and it makes me doubtful of all LG products.

Didn't work after a few weeks

It worked on the first try and after that it counted down less than 10 seconds making me stand by and listen for when my popcorn would be done. Then when reheating or cooking half the time it wouldn't be warm at all. I am in touch with LG and they say they are going to take care of the problem, we shall see.

Door Open Button on the microwave is not durable.

Called LG Appliance Support, gave me the phone number of the Local Service Center. The diagnostic fee was over $120, hence purchased a new Panasonic microwave.

Just for the look, won’t last

This unit only last for 6 months and stopped working. It was cover by warranty but infinity paper works and it tools more 5 weeks to settle with many back-and-forth texts and emails and called and proof of exact branch purchase.

It’s very hard to get the door to open - you have to push it really hard and the door doesn’t swing open very far. I would recommend looking at other brands.

Terrible design.

Poor quality

The first one failed in a couple of months, I got a replacement. The second one failed in less than 2 years. It also has weird lighting. I do not recommend this product at all.

Just say NO

Bought the first one and it died at 11 months. Replaced it using geek squad plan and now this one has died after 12 months. Worthless piece of junk, don’t buy one.

Too complicated

Why bestbuy, why?
