    Inconsistent heating... totally died after < 2 yrs

    Heating capability has always been inconsistent. I'd heat up two frozen meals - the exact same thing - and one would come out piping hot while the other was still half frozen. The order didn't matter. Eventually, the thing went out and the service guy wouldn't even work on it. I've only had it for 2 years. Won't purchase again and will move on to another brand.

    Had to return item. Had a terrible smell when I opened the package. Looked like box was previously opened. Previously owned one but magnetron stopped working and manufacturer did not honor warranty.

    Electrical mess

    Haven't been able to use it. The one we originally bought caused the lights to flash in the kitchen, eventhough they were not on the same curcuit. The electrician swapped out our dimmer switch bc they thought it may be contributing to the issue. The lights still flash like a strobe light. So Best buy exchanged the original microwave for a new one. The same issue continues. The control panel was checked and everything is adequate and functioning well. There is concern whether or not it could be emitting higher levels of radiation so it sits on a shelf unplugged until we have time to return it.

    WORST COMPANY- STAY AWAY

    Day 2 of using it.. It broke. NEVER AGAIN! -The first day I bought it, it worked fine and heated very well. -The next day, it turns on but then there is this zapping sound. I noticed then that it didnt heat anything either.. AT ALL. Day 2 faulty crap product award.

    Replacing My LG Products

    I shouldn't be surprised that this LG product has turned out to be junk. Within a month of purchase it became apparent that someone missed some lubrication duties at the factory because every time the turntable goes around the microwave emits a horrible squealing sound. We tolerated it for 2 years until we replaced it yesterday. One LG product left to replace in our house. Never again.

    Never again

    Failed in 6 weeks. Worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. 4 phone calls and over 3 hours of wasted time because the customer service was so poor. The service center in India kept transferring me to Alabama and even they told me they have no idea what they are doing. Had to upload the same information several times and still have no confidence the problem will ever be solved. Lesson learned. Will never buy another LG product again. If you are considering any LG appliance I would seriously reconsider your decision.

    Do not buy, does not last

    I bought the 4 year warranty & it went out a month later. It is not sturdy on the legs either, it would lean forward if you grabbed the door wrong. Would not buy again, way overpriced. And we keep it clean & air has circulation around it.

    Dead at 3 1/2 years. No more LG for me.

    This LG oven stopped cooking after 3 1/2 years. The LG smart diagnosis determined a bad Magnetron. The LG warranty for that part is 10 years. After weeks of nearly daily calls to the LG 1-800-243-0000 number they have been unable to authorize a replacement magnetron. They claim it must be sent to a servicer yet we have no servicer in my town. The Best Buy salesman told me he tries to warn everyone shopping for LG that our town does not have a LG servicer. I was not told that before ordering it and no where in my LG warranty was it written that LG reserves the right to choose who to send the part to. Be very careful of reading the LG reviews from owners of LG products that have only owned for a short time. I also had a LG 50 inch tv that became unrepairable after 4 years. No more LG for me!

    Wiring CAUGHT FIRE 4 months after purchase

    We purchased this at Best Buy in the fall and the trim kit separately and had it installed and used it fairly lightly for 4 months. A couple of weeks ago, my husband started heating a frozen meal and the unit made a popping noise. He stopped it immediately and it was billowing smoke from the inside upper left of unit. It had arc'd and burned the wiring just in front of the magnetron....COMPLETE waste of money. LAST LG anything we will buy- already learned to avoid Samsung. Sad the state of appliances anymore- have to keep fire extinguishers on the ready. :-(

    Didn`t have very long and made some bad noises and called LG and they said it was bad.They do not honor there warranty.They said to buy another one and they would reimburse us for it and it`s been about a year and they still haven`t gave us any money. Do not buy any LG products.

    Microwave died

    Poor quality. Our unit died shortly after a year and a half. Conveniently just passed the one year warranty timeline. The microwave just powered off mid cook. After numerous back and forths with LG the product was deemed toast. This is a more expensive microwave so I'm certainly disappointed in the longevity and now I have a large microwave to dispose of.

    Don't Buy. Died in 14 months. Not worth it.

    It worked great for 14 months then completely died. Warranty is for 12 months for labor and parts, even though it claims to have 10yrs warranty of Magnetron. But to fix it, it will cost about the same as buying a new one. Would rather buy Panasonic or GE.

    Microware disconnects home wireless

    For some reason, when we turn on LG LMC2075ST microwave, it disconnects our home wireless connections and disconnects Bluetooth devices. We thought something wrong with the microwave that we bought, we returned it after two months and got another microwave with the same model. We experienced the same issue and returned it immediately. After we bought a Samsung microwave that one works perfectly. We had LG LCRT2010ST microwave for four years and that microwave machine worked without any issue. We don't know whether this problem caused any health problems to our family but we DO NOT recommend this product to anyone.

    Poor build quality - Broke down in less than 1 Yr

    I purchased this microwave in June 2019 along with an LG fridge and dishwasher when I moved into my new house. The microwave front door latch came apart after less than 1 year of use. This model has a door latch mechanism to open the microwave instead of the more traditional handle. The latch is held by two very small plastic brackets behind it which, now that I can see it, is made of extremely cheap quality plastic not very different from what one can find in a toy. What's surprising and disappointing is while the rest of the microwave looks great with its stainless steel build, the part that's the most in use mechanically - the door, is held by flimsy plastic brackets of very poor quality. This issue occurred in May 2020, just before the 1-year warranty expired, and I made several attempts to contact the LG customer service line during that time but to no avail.

    LG gives the runaround on warranty

    Purchased near the end of october 2019 and in december 2019 failed. Did not work. Called LG and followed all their warranty procedures, But they said I would have to buy another microwave before they would honor their warranty to pay me back for original. I am on soc. sec. It took me over 9 months just to save for this microwave. All LG is giving me is 90 days to accept offer. This is my second Lg microwave, that has failed. The first one only lasted 6 months. Unfortunately I did not keep receipt for the first one so I could not ask for warranty, without proof

    Stopped working after 3 months

    We purchased this microwave because of the specific dimensions and the nice visual aesthetic. It worked well for three months and then suddenly stopped working. No warning, no indication that something was wrong. BestBuy doesn't accept returns and LG says they do not repair microwaves. They did say they would send a refund check, but that has yet to arrive. When/if it does, it is safe to say we will not be purchasing another LG product, and we will not be purchasing it from BestBuy.

    Purchased the LG NeoChef 2.0 CuFt. Countertop Microwave November of 2022. Stopped working January 2025. just over 2 years..... :( Would not recommend. Microwaves should last 20 years like they used to.

    Bad button that opens door

    The button to open the door is not very good. Stick sometimes and it is hard to open. I think it will break soon. That is how bad it feels. Only had it a month. Im not a frequent user
