This microwave replaced a workhorse, combination microwave/convection oven from the early 1908's which was built like a tank. I could no longer find parts to repair my old oven. We only wanted to buy a microwave this time as we now own a convection full-size gas range/oven. This particular LG model has decent reviews from others as well as a 1-year limited warranty and a 10-year magnetron tube warranty, so we decided to purchase it. I was able to get it on sale at Best Buy and am generally happy with it so far. The major thing I dislike is that the case top will not support much of anything. Biggest problem: We used to put a Marble cutting board and coffee grinder on top of our old one. Even just the coffee grinder made a significant dip in the top, so we removed it. You can place the owener's manual or a few napkins up there without any troubles. Biggest bonuses: It works well, looks good, and has a nice turntable inside. The unit is lightweight and it has a lot of cooking power(watts). I have not owned it long enough to comment on its durability.

This microwave is humungous, works great, and the noises it makes are so much more pleasant than the ordinary annoying beeping!

It is still fairly early in our use of this new microwave oven. We chose this particular oven for its size and wattage. We bought a black stainless refrigerator a couple of years ago and were able to get this microwave in a matching finish. The interior seems to be very easy to keep clean. Very smooth finish so wipes clean. We are very happy with this new unit.

Looks great, fit perfectly in the existing cabinets. Several comments already over the holidays. most guest think it’s always been there. I’m elderly, however. I had no problem with the installation.

This is my 2nd LG microwave. My son had accidentally overcooked bread inside the unit I had bought 5 years ago. I love the ergonomics, size, and the cool black S.S. finish. This is of the best microwave where you can cook or warm by seconds. Most do 30 seconds.

Great popcorn sensor, and I like the song it plays if you don’t open the door once food is ready to remind you it’s there. I decided to go with this one after seeing the good reviews for it in Consumer Reports.
