It works fine except after 2 years of use the open button is broke. It still opens the door but you can tell the button does not go back into correct placement. I have to fiddle with it to look normal. I know it will get worse. My husband thought the whole sensor plan has to be replaced to fix the open button which cost $100 for that. We will likely have to buy a new unit. We bought the trim kit which is more expense than the microwave so we are stuck getting this brand and it matches our other appliances. I am very unhappy at the low quality and short life of this microwave (button). They need to reengineer this. Buy something else if you want it to last. In the photos it shows what it’s supposed to look like and when the button does not go back into placement.

Junk broke after 2 years

The piece is integrated into the bezel, so there it's not like there is even a part to replace. I've never had to buy a new microwave after just two years.

I have used microwaves all my life and never had an issue like this, cheap plastic. The LG customer service was not helpful, as well as the best buy customer service. The part itself is cheap. but the servicing charge is more than $100, which is half of the price itself. Never going to buy LG stuff.

Radio wave caution

Nothing against how it works but I turned it on and left the kitchen, i started smelling a burning smell came into my kitchen to find my toaster oven/air fryer on.. I could push any buttons to turn it off, I had to unplug it,, it was very hot.. I plug it in and it starts snap, crackle and popping and wouldn't shut off.. In the manual " I will post it " it mentions radio waves.. so with the microwave off I plugged the toast oven back in.. then turned on the microwave and you guess it... very dangerous..
