Stole me away from my beloved Iphone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never thought I would see an Android Phone that would entice me away from the Iphone, but here it is. Simply put, this phone is outstanding. There is so much about this phone that is great, one really needs to see, handle and play with one to grasp how nice and user friendly it is. I assumed the battery life was grossly over stated, but for a phone of this size, it gives me a full day of use on one charge and then some. The camera is the best I have ever seen put in a phone. The display rivals that of my $5000.00, 240hz led tv, and the processor speed is blindingly fast. I honestly fin my self not even turning on my lap top and doing the majority of my internet surfing from my phone. The larger display makes the keyboard very easy to use and viewing web pages is also relatively easy. The quarrel I have is all of my Itunes video purchases are not able to be transferred, other than that, I love this phone!!!!

not the greatest but not the worst
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A decent phone unless you are prone to dropping your phone or use your phone alot. Battery life is horribleand the screen cracks to easily. I much preffered my iphone just because of the durability and battery life. It doesn't freeze up as easily as the iphone but that being said i have to reset the phone at least once a week if not more.

Very glitchy, returned for an iPhone5

Great phone for an Android lover
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heard a lot of negative things about the battery life on this phone, but after having this phone for a week, i dont know what those people were talking about. I'll go a whole day and my batter Is barely half way. While not using the phone i do turn data off and that helps. This phone is light weight and fast. I do hate that it dodoesn't have a SD slot, but its memory is enough. Camera is great and apps load quickly

horrible phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone keeps shutting down by itself, not even a month old and got replaced. I would not tell anyone to buy this phone. Best buy is a horrible phone dealer, they did not do anything to make the issue better. Will never purchase from best buy again.

Top Notch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So Awesome phone, lots of my friends angry at the iPhone 5 and Samsung III. Phone comes with cool video and picture apps, it has Panoramic camera option. Battery is one of the best in the Quad core phones. Loads of power saving functions. Runs high end Andriod games like GTA III and Drift with no problems. 32gb of memory is great, no slow load times. Comes with file viewer and you can move photos around in storage from phone. Really happy with it. Wireless access computer or sync to tv. Dropped once no damage, Gorilla glass 2.

What a GREAT Phone!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best phone that I have owned. I am so glad that I waited to get this phone instead of buying the SIII over Christmas. I waited because of the review of the CNET convention. Everything they have said is true. The battery life is fabulous, and pictures are unreal, and the processor speed is unheard of from a phone. Downloaded a 55MB update in about 6 seconds. No complaints and I am sure that you will not have any either.

Awesome phone for Sprint & AT&T
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is easily the best Android phone on Sprint bar none. If you're in a 4G LTE area this phone flies along like nothing I've ever used before. The screen is fantastic better than the AMOLED screen on the Samsung SIII and the quad core processor can handle anything. Battery life with moderate use easily lasts 14 hours with plenty left over. Call quality is good, great size and all in all a great experience if you like Android.

The very best of everything right now
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say, I contemplated getting an iPhone after suffering through 2 years with my Optimus S, a phone so notoriously bad that I hid it away from my fellow techie friends. However, after a few minutes of research, the iPhone was completely out of the picture... Lacking in power, customization, and features, and woefully overpriced to boot, and that's barely scratching the surface. No thanks! Enter the LG Optimus G. This gorgeous, almost excessively shiny device has the best hardware, the best screen, and if you ask me, the best release of Android with the most impressive stock software I've ever seen on the market. The stock video player, web browser, office suite, etc. are all flawless. The video player alone will play EVERY video format I tried, including expansive .mkv's and Japanese video formats with dual audio and subtitles without a hitch, and you can try out Q-slide while you're at it. Try NOT being impressed by the stock software on this phone. LG did an amazing job. I really should try to keep this succinct, so let me just say if you're on Sprint and you want power, features, and general perfection, this phone is for you. I would, however, recommend a case since this phone is covered in gorilla glass, which not only makes it slick but breakable and scratchable too. It also might not be great for people with small hands; the phone's screen is huge, and as a result, so is the phone itself. Buy it. Forget the dated Galaxy S3 and don't consider the iPhone for a second. This phone is the love of my life.

13 mp camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The camera on this phone is great. A few things I don't like is that when I am texting the phone freezes and then closes messaging saying sorry this has stopped, I am going from an iPhone on Verizon to an android on sprint. Their is not 4g in my city and it doesn't look like sprint is bringing it anytime soon. I don't think I get the benefits of this phone on the 3G network. I feel it's just as any phone I've ever had. I do enjoy the large screen on the phone as well as the camera very clear picture. I use the phone for more than I was able to use my iphone for. Great phone overall, just wish the 4G was aviable and I wish that the representive that helped me in store would have told me that I wasn't going to be on a 4g network.

An incredible phone for me!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using several Android phones, Windows Phone (every release since 4), and iPhone, I have to say this is by far the best phone I have ever used! It is very fast and the camera is better than any digital camera in my home or office.

very responsive!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A month with the phone and o could only find a few thing wrong, with no fault of its own. One no 4g lte. ..that's sprints fault. Second, no flash player for andrkid 4.0 or hire.....sharp picture and fun little tricks like video edited to create mms videos...love that feature.. also watching a downloaded movies and still search the net.....the best. And if you have a smart tv...mirror your phone to the big screen. ....wow love this phone and can't wait for 4g lte to be more widely available, because when you do hit it it makes this phone beyond fast.........

Loving my new Optimus!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had planned to upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S3, but for a variety of reasons (one of which was Samsung choosing to use Jay-Z to endorse the Galaxy line - I won't patronize him) I looked more closely at the Optimus G. Am I ever glad I did! It is lightning fast, the reception in Jacksonville is better than with any prior Sprint phone I've ever owned, processor speed is unbelievable, and it's a breeze to set up and use. And it was FREE with a 2-year Sprint re-up. WOW. I would strongly recommend that anyone looking at an Android device take a good, long look at the LG Optimus G.

Absolutely Amazing Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I traded my IPhone in for this device and am so glad that I did. It has an array of features that my IPhone didn't- such as being able to snap pictures while I'm recording videos, interchange between screens, and setting a timer on shooting photos which allows me to pose before the camera shoots the picture. This device is definitely equipped for social media lovers and for recording and editing videos, and so much more. This is absolutely my favorite phone ever.

Great upgrade from previous optimus
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this phone since Nov 24 and I can't put it down. It's great a vast improvement from the previous optimus s. I just didn't want the phone that everyone had the Samsung g III. I love the look and feel of this phone. Does NOT feel cheap! I use it heavy at work for entertainment purposes, watching a lot on youtube, vevo, listening to pandora. Checking my emails browsing the internet, and after all that the phone never slows down. I have had no issue with the battery, I use it heavy so I know it will drain, but you can save a lot by turning off things you don't need. Overall I'm very excited about this phone so much more potential left to play with, my wife has to yell at me to put it down for now.

fantastic phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After being very unhappy at my free choices on upgrade day from Sprint, i happened to go to the BestBuy website for something else and decided to check out the phones. To my amazement, they had this phone (which I had seen up to $200 other places as an upgrade) for FREE. I immediately ordered it online and headed to Barnes and Noble to wait for an email telling me to come into the store. I had only been there five minutes when I got the email. Pickup was easy, customer service was great, and I found out it was better to buy my phone insurance through Best Buy than leave it with Sprint, which has much more restrictive policies. Within an hour of first seeing it, I had this GREAT phone in my hands! After my cracked iphone 4, it was great to have an Android of reasonable size I could really see things on! I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!
