Bought this based on good reviews. The brightness was barely adequate in darkened rooms even with screen sizes 40" or smaller. I didnt like the focus control, it is not at all precise. Adjust it to where you think its sharp, go too far, you have to go way back further than it was- like there is a lot of slop in the mechanism so you never know if its really in focus. Really disappointed in the plastic lens. Ive collected binoculars for years (owning about 200 pairs) and know how to clean optics. Its not rocket science. Despite the utmost care routine cleaning just a few times left deep scratches on the lens. Still the picture wasnt bad and I was somewhat satisfied with my purchase until about 8 months after purchase the unit died . Power supply tests good with my DMM but plug in the unit and no charge light and the unit shows a red light on the power button but doesnt turn on. Contacted LG who sent a return label and I sent it in for warranty service. That was 7 weeks ago, havent heard anything from them tried to call today they said theyd call back. I hadnt used the projector much probably 100 hours total, never used it as portable or outdoors. Less than thrilled with this purchase to say the least.

While the picture is good the speakers are a joke. I had to purchase a separate speaker to use with it and this was just so myself and one other person could hear it.

There is no ability to adjust picture size. You have to physically move it to get the size picture you want. Speaker is not good so use a Bluetooth speaker.

It's very nice projector but it's not so much user-friendly

What makes this projector unique is that it has a battery in it so you can go mobile and not have to look for an outlet to plug into. This is a huge pro for people like me who like to go mobile. I took it outside streamed a 2 hour movie on battery and it still had power when I was done. The size falls in between a pico projector and a standard sized projector. Its light enough that it only has and needs one mounting hole if you were to mount it. It runs LGs WebOS which is great especially if you already own a LG TV and know how to run it. Its pretty simple and straight forward. It comes with a few pre-installed apps mostly useful stuff but can be removed. Connect up to wifi, install some apps, and stream. No source needed if you go this route. Has a ton of ports ethernet, usb, usb-c, 2 hdmi, coaxial, audio jack. Supports BT and wifi. Supports wireless AC as well which is a plus. For the price you get a very nice little projector. Its not a thousand dollar projector so cant complain about it not being 4k but its 1080p is very clear/crisp. The only cons Ive found thus far is that it has no zoom functionality. So to make the screen smaller or bigger you have to physically move it forward or back. Also speakers are only 1 watt so you may want to connect something better. All in all a great little projector!
