This thing really booms (my poor neighbors) LG is a great brand and we decided to go with LG instead of a vizio sound bar because I didn't like the look of the vizio one. I like that this one has a digital screen of the volume.

Great sound but has some faults

The Blue tooth connection suddenly stopped working after about 1 month which was a major downfall given this one one of the main reason I picked this system. Also, I've had issues with it automatically switching to optical when it was on another setting

The sound bar has more of a tinny sound rather than a rich one. It took me a week to figure out that I needed to use the Optical input because the HDMI connection was producing undesirable effects, such as no vocals and muffled audio. This could be a product of the HDMI TV input rather than the LG. The reason I purchased LG is because I have an older model that I was completely impressed with the rich, dynamic sound it outputs. This model did not fare as well in the sound quality, and one bIg issue is LED message on the front only goes away with manual click on the provided remote. This LED message removal is required every time it is powered up, and there is no way to dim the very bright LED message on the front of the bar. I did pick up this LG on sale for $189, but would rather have spend more $$ to get a better quality sound. Not a bad sound bar, just not great, with a little of meh to go with it.
