This device is soooooo cool! This is a multi-function device in a briefcase. It does live TV, music, media streaming, video games, internet browsing, and even a fireplace, yes a fireplace. All of this in a briefcase, and it does is elegantly. It comes complete with a remote control, great speakers that deliver terrific sound, a built-in battery, WiFi and a flip out screen with the best stand ever. How did they do it. We can take this anywhere. As a matter of fact, we took it on our recent trip to Savannah GA and used it every day/night. In our vacation rental, it was our center of entertainment when we were there. Morning news on the TV, music afterwards, internet browser for planning our day. In the evening we watched TV, movies, danced to the music, streamed our favorite shows and all of this out of a briefcase. By the way, it is very well built, the case is heavy duty construction and very very durable. It is built for taking with you. I cannot say enough about this device, but it is simply soooooo cool! We give it 5 stars for being a terrific value for all it does.

We love our StanByMe, it may not fit for everybody but if you have an outdoor space, or are looking for something flexible for fun on-the-go viewing than this may be what you need. We use ours both plugged-in, or with the battery which generally lasts like 4+ hours.

This tv is perfect for the Nintendo switch two, PlayStation pro and my Mac mini m4 as a primary screen and on the go movement. The WiFi connection and usb connection make it perfect for open ai programming and llama imaging protocols

I love the color, how sleek it looks, how sturdy it is, that it is branded - LG, the features are like having a big Ipad . I wanted it to have a ‘portable’ tv to use with my JBL and Sony speakers for videoke. Now I do not have to settle with an ipad. Love it!

This is fun to connect to game consolses wherever we feel like it. Hate the complaints about it being “too heavy or big”. I appreciate the durability and quality that comes with that.

Absolutely love this purchase I use it every day as my TV in my bedroom but I could also put it away so it doesn’t have a huge eyesore also use as my tablet and computer I will recommend this 1000 times

I coach high school athletes, and this will allow me to show them footage during practice at the side of the field. It is easy to set up and use with the webOS system. However, it is heavy—28 lbs—so I won't be taking it on flights.

We LOVE this TV! We have stopped scrolling on our phones and are spending more quality time together! We watch movies or just TV instead of scrolling. But we can scroll too on the TV and watch the same stuff which is also fun.

Love this product. Great device for watching sports movies anywhere. This has a 3 hour battery so can watch a sporting event . Best buy had the best price on this . If on the fence get it.

This is a great TV, especially for those who are on the go! I could see this being a fun way to watch TikTok with your friends while camping, playing games while on vacation or just keeping up with your favorite shows. I use it as a second bedroom tv, for when my husband is watching the news. I hook up my Xbox to the HDMI on the back and play. Counts as ‘quality time’ right? It does have a battery, which I wasn’t sure about. It does have HDMI, which is cool. There is a storage area for the remote AND the plug underneath the tv which is fantastic. Cons - It’s heavy! Not like you need two hands to pick it up, but heavier than I expected for sure. It’s big! I initially planned to use it as a monitor for road trips, but because of the case it’s in, and the fixed angles it can reach, it was not possible. I wanted something bigger and better than a portable monitor. This is not my solution.

What a cool peice of tech for a portable way to consume media outside the home. I got this for camping and tailgating. You can even play video games on it, it has a hdmi input and they have different apps in its store like GeForceNow. The PQ and sound is really good.

A very specific device for a limited need, but performs very well. I was a caretaker with my mom going in and out of the hospital many times. We would use this to stream better-looking and sounding content than the hospital TV offered. It is way heavier than a laptop but also has better sound etc. The power switch on the back lacks a bit of UI intelligence, but it is pretty remarkable if you want something better than a laptop or pad.

To be honest, I was prepared to be disappointed. I had read reviews that panned the screen quality of this TV. Imagine my surprise when I turned it on to watch my favorite Asian dramas on  TV+, Rakuten-Viki, iQiyi and Netflix. While it’s not UHD, the video quality is still very sharp and clear; it’s enough for me to say that the $1200 price tag was value-for-money. I mean, where else can you find a better touchscreen TV that fits into a suitcase of sorts. Three words: I love it!

This is not a Smart TV, it's a portable touchscreen monitor with a few basic apps and streamers. I'm really disappointed and I got it when it was discounted to $400. I'd be really unhappy if I wasted $1200 on this. The build quality is good. The speaker on the inside of the case is decent but the software truly sucks. LG have green this very few apps. There is no DLNA function so if you have a NAS at home with content like I have, it's impossible to watch anything. That is unbelievable to me. But I think I get it. LG after taking your coin still want you to buy a dedicated home TV that has that functionality and additional apps. The media player on the Stanbyme is frankly appalling. Like something from the Google Play store back in 2014. So far I have used this once and doubt I will again so likely will return it.

Summary: Overall, very well designed product by LG. Feels premium, good display quality, sound, touch response etc. +Beautiful design +smooth operation +screen quality - touch not usable with PC unless wireless connection - heavy Detailed: What surprised me as a miss is the design decision for LG to omit USB connectivity for touch to a PC. Ideally, this should be a single cable USB-C solution to connect to a PC and be able to use the screen as a touchscreen kiosk. I would be willing to take HDMI and USB as a dual cable solution as well. However, the USB port on the back is only for direct media input. You can use 'Miracast' or other solutions to add as a wireless display to a PC, however connectivity tends to be unreliable especially when switching wifi networks (which will happen given the purpose of this screen is to be portable). I worked with LG support and no other solutions work. Having a touchscreen TV is not as helpful a use case since you will use it with a remote anyway. Maybe they should launch a cheaper non-touch version. As a result, I will give this 3 stars. It may sound harsh, but I want to like this product and imo there are big omissions. Design improvements: - USB-C touchscreen monitor use case for a PC - More space inside case to store peripherals (example a NUC PC) - (Ideal world) lighter. This box is heavy!

It's so cool to use this TV in the backyard. It's loud and the screen is big enough for the kids to enjoy. It would be a miracle if it were waterproof, but I'm rating it based on what it does. The only con would be it's a bit heavy. It's like 25 lbs, but it feels way heavier trying to lift it.

Great Portable TV Easy setup and Great picture Love the product

Bought this for my wife who is waiting long-term in hospital for a transplant. The tv options in the hospital were pretty limited and after the first few weeks were wearing thin. Brought this to her and she’s up and running with all our streaming services. Image is very good and sound is great too. It has been an outstanding purchase for our situation and worth every penny.
