Do Not Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this new 3 years ago for $1600 and loved everything about it until it died... DEAD. Still under the 5-year warranty though so we thought we would be all set. But LG has been giving us the runaround so we decided starting doing some digging. Turns out this company has a huge history of not honoring its warranties and basically ignoring and scamming their customers. There is literally no way to get in touch with anyone other than their Philippines-based call center. And even those customer service reps cannot directly contact anyone. They simply send an email to their "back of office team" or their "special locations team" or their "register technicians team" depending on whom you talk to. But they can't actually connect with anyone. They just keep telling you to be patient and in 3-5 business days you'll receive a phone call or email from one of those departments. But that never happens. And after you call on the 5th day, you're back to Friday so they tell you to wait until Monday. I'm not proud of it, but I finally yelled my way to a customer service "manager" (although I suspect all of the customer service reps have the same rank and they just pass you along) who informed me that according to the documentation that he was looking at, the 5 other reps that I had spoken with over the previous 2 weeks had not actually tried to contact any of those other departments like they claimed. Then he literally said to me "Please don't tell anyone where you got this information, but take the refund if you ever get that offered to you, and you shouldn't do business with LG again." I'm not kidding. But apparently their "return authorization team" (whom the customer service reps can't directly contact or provide contact info for) either doesn't actually exist or does the same level of runaround and never issues refunds. Big ole fridge and freezer

Compressor problem
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this unit in my house used for almost 3 years but this model Nummber have a lots of problems like!,, compressor problem every year they come to change the compressor the freezer is not working and be honest it was waste of money I'm telling you it's not cooling well so anyways I'm really tired of it and thanks god I have warranty, hopefully after having so much problem with this fridge going to return and get a GE, the capacity of the fridge is very big and useful ques it's my luck I'm saying again this model has a compressor problem think twice before you buy thank you and have a great day .

Best Buy Agents are Incompetent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My husband and I have ordered a few kitchen appliances through Best Buy in the past year and every single time, they mess up the order. Today, we were scheduled to have this LG Refrigerator delivered and yet again, they were not prepared with a dolly or anything else to navigate our driveway. Each time we've made a purchase we notify the agent several times and it does not matter--they're always unprepared and delivery gets delayed. Today, we refunded the order and when I do my kitchen remodel later this year, I will be getting all my materials and appliances from Best Buy's competitors. This is the most incompetent company I have ever encountered and completely unreliable. Don't waste your time or money here.
