    Best Buy customer service rep recommended the LG DVD CD player to me over my original selection Sony basic. After getting the LG home and using it for my old DVD and CD discs I am very happy he recommended LG as it met my requirements and then some at the same price range as the Sony basic unit. This is why I have found to ask for options when I am around tech experts.

    Very good blue ray player Great up scaling I do have an allergy TV as well as LGE sound bar so the coordination with the other allergies makes it super simple and easy with great use of a single remote control for everything
