First it started selectively freezing in mid play with both my home movies on disk, and some factory disks. Finally it just became completely unusable when a disk is inserted, and the play menu comes up the arrow keys on the remote don't do anything as far as moving the cursor to select menu functions. a green light flashes on the face of the unit to indicate that it has received a command from the remote, but nothing happens on the TV display

I used it about 3-4 times and it would stop periodically playing sound of the movies. I would have to unplug the blu ray player to reboot it. Then after 12 uses it started stopping and turning off mid movie. Then about the 15th use it began freezing throughout the movies. It refused to accept commands such as stop or eject. So I had to unplug the blu ray to reboot it. So now it’s useless playing videos as it constantly freezes or turns off mid video for no reason. I bought this because it had great reviews. I also bought this because it has continuous play feature. I’m one of those weird people that need background noise as silence makes me go crazy, so I like to play DVDs 24/7, unfortunately this doesn’t work because of the freezing/stopping issue. This was expensive junk. I should have purchased another Samsung Blu-ray player with continuous play. when I bought my Samsung I only paid $50, but now they want $70-80 for the same model. Why???? Anyhow, this is garbage and I’m really disappointed as almost all of my stuff in my home is made by lg, which are decent products, until now.
