I never had an issue before with any other device. I connected my sony BD player and it work perfect. I bought this player to replace the sony one thats 10 years old but the Sony is going back on the shelf. Players were built better when they came out. Stick with Sony

The moment a disc was in the player it made a loud humming/vibration noise that overshadowed any movie I tried watching. Wish it wouldn't have done that because it was nice and lightweight and user friendly. Would not recommend.
