But seems to work. Doesn't have the features my Panasonic had but the cost jumps quite a bit over this player for features like 4k which I don't not need.

We have issues with it freezing time to time while streaming and we have to unplug it for a few seconds to get it to work again.

I got an inexpensive HDMI cable at Walmart and it worked fine. Price was ok... could have been a bit less for such a basic item and no cord. Otherwise plays discs fine and is exactly what i needed.

I would have given higher marks, but the range on the remote is really poor. it uses one single AAA battery and if you are more than 6 feet away, it just doesn't work.

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I guarantee the quality, the price, the presentation and everything but..., it has a slight problem, from time to time the menu stops responding, does not respond the remote control or the buttons on the control panel. This is only fixed by disconnecting the equipment completely from the power and waiting a few seconds before to connect again. After this, everything working ok until this issue happen again. The version is update, this issue happen from few week from the purchase date and there are more device connected to the same outlet power but this is the only one that present issue.

My only complaint is that it is louder than I would have thought. Once the movie starts, its really ok but I hear it spinning from across the room before that.
