LAN wouldn’t receive internet

I tried the LAN/CAT5 and cables on my laptop and everything worked fine. I’ll be returning this unit to Best Buy and purchasing One that has Wi-Fi.

Second-rate Blu-ray player

Not recommended

Good for playing blu-rays, terrible for streaming

It is terrible for streaming. When I stream the included apps, there is ALWAYS a lag between the audio and the video. I have to hit pause every few minutes in order for the audio to catch up to the video. Very annoying. The reason I bought it was so I could stream AND watch blu-rays. Very disappointing.

Doesn’t connect to internet

I have tried many different locations in my home as troubleshooting has said to have it closer to the internet and it still doesn’t connect to it. Internet has been checked and is fine, this is just a faulty product.

bad buy

I was told Hulu should be able to swap profiles on the device. When I helped set up this XMAS gift it, however, did not. Because of this, I didn't even bother setting up Netflix because I had no faith in the device what so ever. It does not have the bells and whistles it claims(or the associates of the store) claim it should have.

Pay Attention to the Details

The player works fine, however, when I the player was purchased, I missed the sign that said "missing remote". Still frustrated with the fact during checkout, the cashier didn't bring it to my attention; but overall the fault was mine for not paying close attention to the details. Hopefully lesson learned, but we'll see.

Overpriced

Also, the online features like Netflix, VUDU, and Youtube are so laggy. I'd instead buy a game console to access these features. However, even at the 50 dollar price tag I bought mine at I still have buyers remorse and contemplate returning it.
