The player works fine, but this is a very basic Blu-Ray/DVD player. It doesn't have features my old DVD player has like zoom function on remote control, captions are too small, in black box not transparent. And I've bought my Philips for $40 more than 7 years ago. It would be OK to have such simple player 10 years ago but now I am a little disappointed.

Rediculous. So extremely disappointed in this product. By the time my family did their Christmas and we realized it was not wifi capable the return date had expired. Will never buy from here again.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit to replace a Sony player that was having remote issues, this LG was rated as a good player so i bought it and set it up, while using netflix or amazon it was constantly stopping and buffering, when listening to Pandora it would lock up and cause the song to skip to the next one. Out of frustration I took apart the remote to my older Sony and cleaned the contacts, I am now back to using the Sony and will probably toss this LG in the trash, what a disappointment.
