    STOPPED WORKING AFTER 4 DISCS

    Yes, it stopped working after I watched 4 movies. It would not turn on from either the remote control or the front panel button. I had to unplug the wall wart adapter (red flag not to buy), plug it in, and try again. I was able to get my movie out but the unit would either display the LG logo screen or a white screen of death until I unplugged it to shut it off. I didn't consider it worth the trouble to return and it is now resting comfortably in a dumpster. Spend the extra money and get a SONY instead.

    All I wanted was a simple blu ray player. Unfortunately, this one didn't even deliver on that. Does not connect wirelessly, which isn't a huge deal for me but it's advertised, so kind of let down there. I played one DVD when this player was new. right out of the box, then it never worked properly again. I've since tried over 20 different discs, blu ray and regular, and only get a "no disc" error. So horribly frustrating! Save your time and money and do not make the mistake of wasting both here.

    it kinda hides the fact that it isn't wi-fi ready !!!

    great dvd player, NOT good for streaming

    The DVD player worked great. The streaming service would freeze EVERY TIME we wanted to use it. Only way to get out of the problem was to pull the plug. I returned the unit and bought a different unit after a conversation with the geek squad.

    Not Wi-Fi wireless

    Player works well. “Steaming” needs to be hard wired to router. There is no wireless connection available in settings. Only buy to stream if next to router.

    Quit working after a couple of uses

    I used this player a couple of times, then it quit recognizing the discs. Contacted LG and followed their service request / refund procedure twice, but they stated that my serial number was not valid. I sent them the only serial number on the back of the unit. This player is going in the garbage and I'll never buy anything made by LG again.

    Not happy. Bought 2 of these thinking i can hook up to netflix, Like reviews say, but they do not. Ive called customer service, they're no help. Too late to return them as i Bought them earlier as gifts for Christmas

    Stopped working after 8 months

    Didn't even make it a year and gets little use. Maybe 2-4 hours a week if that? Just stopped working. Green light comes on but doesn't play discs anymore. Worked one day, and the next it doesn't work. Put in a DVD and it does not spin anymore. Unplugged/plugged in all the usual troubleshooting attempts but just doesn't work anymore. Great quality LG. Must have been made on a Monday or Friday.

    I watched a total of 2 movies/shows on this player, and now it’s having a hard time reading discs, and is unusable. Will be contacting Best Buy to see if they can offer any assistance, but needless to say, I’m disappointed with the purchase.

    We have high speed internet and it keeps buffering we returned it none of our other players had any problems and they run on WiFi it was running off the lan line and froze 3 times

    Missing parts

    Bought as an open box in “excellent condition”. I couldn’t tell you how it worked, as after I purchased and got home (25 minutes away) ,no power supply in the box! I can see missing common cables like an hdmi or RCA cable, but it’s totally useless without power supply and they’re not so common that you might have one laying around. Drove 25 minutes back to the store and they seemed quite disinterested to get me a power supply cable, and just returned it. Very frustrating.

    This Blue Ray Disc / DV Player worked well for several months. Recently it fails to recognize that a disc is loaded. I will be back soon to request replacement. Joseph D Gorman

    Nice and compact but it keeps freezing. We have to do a hard reset to make it work again. I'm probably going to bring it back and see what other models they have.

    The first time I watched Netflix it froze needing a power recycle to correct. Remote has no deflection angle at all, very frustrating to use.

    Loses WiFi connection all the time , I do not have WiFi issues ever except with this. Only six apps available to use. Horrible for the price.
