I bought this Blu-Ray player to replace my old broken Philips DVD player. This is the first LG product I have bought and am happy to say it is a very nice machine. Excellent picture quality and an easy to use remote with many features. I recommend it.

This dvd player can be used for both Blu Ray and standard digital dvd's. This is a great feature and it was easy to set up. The picture quality is excellent, even on an older TV like mine. I got a good deal on this open box item.

Bought a ‘excellent’ open box. Works great. Glad I didn’t spend the money on ‘new’ one. Bought for daughter at college.

Easy to install and operate. I like the size of the player.

So far this is working great. We only use it for movies, not streaming so I can’t speak to the streaming aspect. But for dvds and blu ray, the setup was simple and it was up and working within a few minutes of being plugged in.

My first Blue-Ray player and I’m very happy with the quality. My only issue is that this doesn’t come with an HDMI cable. Since it’s really the only way to connect the player to your TV, why you have to go out and spend even more on a cable to get it to work with your TV is beyond me. Other than that, works great and glad I can play my DVD’s!

I bought the pre-opened box at a significant discount, and it may as well have been brand new. It looked like it had never been touched. Product was as advertised, and shipping was immediate.

Excellent device at a competitive price. Produces a sharp picture. Do wish the controls were a little easier to use, but just takes a little getting used to. I would buy again and highly recommend it.

I originally owned this player back in 2015. It worked great and did everything I asked it to do. It's a great product and it just works! I foolishly gave it to my parents though and purchased the Sony Blue ray player which I thought would be an upgrade but it absolutely wasn't. The Sony unit has a better remote and has quieter operation. But it has terrible audio quality. It's not able to decode 5.1 or 7.1 very well. The center channel gets muddied out if you're using a 2.1 setup. No amount of fiddling with the options corrected this issue. The Sony unit is also SLOW to bootup. I ultimately ended up throwing my Sony player away and was in the process of purchasing another one of these LG units, when I stumbled on a Panasonic 4k player for $149. The Panasonic is AMAZING! The picture is absolutely stunning, it's super fast on the internet and its operation is quite. More over the Panasonic unit has absolutely amazing audio! It really is amazing what Panasonic was able to do! It's like using a whole new TV and sound system! So anyways....Yes LG makes a superior Blue Ray player to Sony! BUT Panasonic has em all beaten!!!

Don't be fooled - this is an excellent low cost blu-ray player worth every cent. Easy to set up with great playback quality. Small in size but big in what it delivers! A great buy.

Great DVD player, I bought this one about 3 years ago and it works great! I haven't had an issue playing any sort of videos on this player. Definitely recommend.

great product for the money we would buy this product as a gift for others. would recommend it for anyone that needs just a dvd player, simple, easy to use.

No problems, good price, and it works as advertised! Put your glasses on to see buttons on remote but it works fine!
