Due to some unforeseen reason, I am unable to have home internet services in this modern day of advanced technology!!! Go figure. Therefore, this system affords me opportunity to enjoy quality home entertainment without internet. Life is grand!

Very good, easy to use but basic blu-ray player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a very good, but very basic, blu-ray player, perfect for first time blu-ray owners or people who just want a simple easy to use player. The blu-ray player is compact (about 7"x10") so it can fit anywhere. The remote control is ridiculously small (2"x5") and the buttons are very close together, so people with big fingers may have a problem with the remote). Set up was a breeze, you just plug a HDMI cable from the back of the blu-ray player to the back of your TV and then plug in the player to an electrical outlet. (An HDMI cable is not included but you can easily buy one for about $4 at Best Buy). It plays both blu-ray discs and dvds. One small downside to this player is there is no timer/clock, so you don't know how many minutes into a movie you are when you're watching it. Otherwise picture quality and ease of use are great. There are other features to this player that I have not used, such as apps or playing CDs.

An enjoyable Blu-ray Player

I am very happy with it. The Blu-ray's I have watched on it have amazing clarity and the resolution is top notch. I did not hook it up to the internet so I am unable to comment on the performance of the player in that aspect. I hope the quality lasts and I can enjoy this player for many years.

Soundbar Is the Way To Go

Being somewhat skeptical, I put off getting a soundbar. However, after doing research I took the plunge and bought one and it was a great decision. Though the sound on the model was good, the soundbar just brings out a more enhanced sound quality.
