    I like the player. It seems to do the job correctly but, the remote, which is small doesn't seem to control the player when you're far away. I tried several batteries and the result is the same. This isn't a problem if you have another universal remote that you can sync with the player but, it seems that the remote should work better.

    Remote is trash. You have to press the open button 10 times for it to finally open lol but the picture is good!

    Love this player! Easy to use. I bought this for my mother (age 72) and she was able to set it up and maneuver the options very well. The remote has clear, obvious buttons that anyone can understand. Player has never given her any problems. She can access her apps (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) with the ease of one button. This is great for anyone looking to buy a new player!

    Was looking for a blue ray for my parents for Christmas. Did my usual and looked on the online giant, then always do a check on Best Buy. To my surprise, way cheaper on Best Buy and available at my local store. well semi local since my local one was closed... whats that all about!! Anyway, opened on Christmas day and played Mama Mia with no issue. great player, great price and not slow like some reviews say it is. get one, great deal.
