Great Functionality with One Glaring Flaw

Many reviewers complain about the lack of wifi, but that is on them. There is no claim on the box or in the ad stating it has wifi. I use another device for streaming so I just needed a bluray/dvd player. Plays all discs thrown at it well including burned DVDs. Three stars instead of five due to the insane decision to have the loading screen pure white and the background of the player menu to also be white. Want to watch a movie in the evening? Bam! Blasted with what is essentially a giant LED light bar. Turn it off? Bam! Hit with the same for a few seconds while it turns off. That being said, I got this on sale for $40 so for as cheap as it is I will just deal with it. I power it on, let the disc load, hit play, and then change the input source over to the player.

This Blu-ray player doesn’t connect wirelessly to the internet, it does require wired connection. Which honestly to me doesn’t matter as it is plugged in to a smart TV and I don’t need to rely on this device for a Smart OS. If you are looking for a nice cheap straight to the point Blu-ray player this is definitely it. Very happy with my purchase!
