It works just as expected. I needed a dvd player for my RV and this fills the need perfectly.

It is a very good player. My family loves it as we use it more for viewing and playing DVDs and Blue ray discs rather than streaming. It works like a charm and even talks too. Very good bang for the buck! Highly recommended for the most basic needs.

I am a big LG fan. When the condo I manage was renovated they still had a VCR/DVD player. Yikes. I immediately bought this blu-ray player at a good price. In condos you have to go with affordable items and this one fit the bill. As always we are satisfied with LG electronics.

Sets up and works perfectly, Matches up with the 45" LG tv and the lg soundbar.We didn't need a ton of features..this is perfect over 1 year in use.

BluRay players are getting harder to come by. Yes - everyone is going to streaming but we still have a whole lot of movies on BluRay and DVD that we like to watch. This one paired perfectly with new LG OLED TV

We were looking to replace an old DVD player, but needed one that had Netflix and Amazon Prime loaded. This one has both, and I combined it with the FireStick to ensure I could obtain the remainder of apps and platforms. Excellent product and love the LG name!

Very simplistic design, Owned for almost a year and no issues so far. Remote control looks a little outdated, but makes up in functional use. Additional features include turn on/off power for TV as well as volume control, which makes it convenient if the TV remote is lost.

We haven't played a Blue Ray disk yet, but we have played DVDs of a TV series. These are about 4 hours long and do not seem to be at particularly high resolution. The up-conversion on this player makes them appear much better than they did when played on an older DVD machine. (The tv is a 50" 1080 plasma.)

This item is great. My son loves it. We watch a lot of dvd so it was a great Christmas gift for him. He loves to watch his own movies in his room

Inexpensive easy to use for those days you do not want to stream a movie and play an oldie but goodie. Also, crank up the old cd collection. Having lots of fun with this compact player.

I got a blu-ray player for christmas as a present. Unfortunately, after a year it quit playing blu-ray movies. Then a couple months later it quit playing dvd movies all together! So i waited for a sale on blu-ray players and purchased one. I definately missed not being able to watch all my blu-ray movies! And I of course bought a four year warranty!

Even though DVDs are "old" technology, I still have DVDs lying around. Occasionally, I actually watch them and I have found this LG Blu-ray DVD player to be an excellent product, Easy to use with a simple remote.

The price was righy--not too expensive, and it was pretty simple to set up. It did not come with a HDMI cable, so we bought that separately. It works well and is easy to use.

You can't go wrong with LG products l. I have multiple bluray players which are sony, panasonic however the LG is much better from its quick startup to picture/sound quality.

I needed a basic Blu-Ray player for the TV in the guest room. Although this model has the capability, I don’t need streaming or anything “advanced.” Just play the discs. This fits the bill perfectly. Easy to set up; played right away. Perfect for what I need.

I really like this player! It was so easy to set up! I love that it's for Blu-ray and normal DVDs because I still have a lot of DVDs an don't want to replace them with Blu-ray. It's really easy to use as well! Would definitely recommend it!

Couldn't beat it for the sale price and does everything I need without all the extra bells and whistles. Simple remote and plays disks without any issues. Some people complain it doesn't play certain DVD formats from copies or self made disks but all I use it for is commercially made movies.

I bought it just for watching Blu Ray DVD and so far there was no problems. There is an On/Off indicator light (some people said there was no indicator light - probably from different models!). Set up was a breeze - just connect the cable- done! Note: You need to buy your own HDMI cable.
