I only needed a blu-ray player, but there are no "just" blu-ray players out there anymore it seems. But for playing movies it works great! I docked it a point because it requires a network cable for streaming. But that could just be the reason for the price point. Would've been nice to free up my Roku player for another room.

Surprisingly good. Use it for travel to places without streaming capability. Very lightweight and small for packing. Connectivity very easy. Not fancy but functional. All you need if no wifi.

I needed to replace my PlayStation. This player was easy to set up and works very well.

Easy to use and the picture is great. However, it is somewhat noisy, hard to watch a movie on low volume with the noise this creates.

Does the job. Was purchased to replace Blu-ray capability of a all in one home theater system that quite working. This along with a wireless soundbar system fit the bill nicely.

This has been a very good DVD player. I have had it for around six months and have had not issues. It is easy to use. I regret not purchasing a 4k one, since I'm getting a new 4k TV. However, that is on me

Simple and effective for what I was looking for. I wasn't getting this for anything beyond just using it as a bluray player. I cant comment on how well will work in that regard. How ever for just playing my bluray movies it does exactly what I want it to do

Simple Blu-ray player that works with WI-FI It does simple streaming (Netflix, Hulu, Prime,etc.) and plays discs. If you want all the bells and whistles, pay $150 more and enjoy. If you want a solid basic unit, this is great.

This was the easiest and simplest way we could find to add bluray/ DVD to the Roku TV we had recently purchased to cord cut. Pretty much sets itself up, picture quality is excellent and the remote simple. Works with or without being on WiFi network although we use it without as supposedly the picture quality is better. My only negative thought is that it's supposed to be "quiet" and the start up spin isn't by ant means of the imagination, but honestly that's to be expected of any disc drive just don't know why they advertise it as "quiet" only noticeable at startup though so really irrelevant to the overall quality for price consideration. We're extremely happy with it

The LG BP-175 Blu-ray/DVD player works great and is very inexpensive. The picture and sound quality are solid, making this unit a wonderful addition to any home entertainment system. I highly recommend it!

I simply needed a new Blu-ray player for my man cave to watch movies I've collected. No need for internet or streaming channels since that is all on my TV. Very please with this player. Works great and has all the features I need.

Product is amazing. Picture quality is great. Quickly loads the disc and works very well. Purchased two units, one for the RV and the other for my business. Could not be happier. Would highly recommend.

My previous blu-ray play was zapped in a power surge, and I picked this up as a black Friday special. This player works well for basic needs, and is faster than my previous Panasonic player. I don't utilize any streaming apps, since I have those on my LG tv and Tivo Bolt.

We live in an area with no internet or WiFi. So, we are basically using just the DVD player. Simple to connect with an HDMI cable (not included) and operation was pretty self explanatory even for the electronically challenged.

Prices have increased since the last time I bought a BluRay. It works and produces a good picture. I am frustrated by the whole ”Android is not an Android” that requires a FireStick, Roku, or other device to stream, making the “smart features” kinda dumb.

Just wanted a basic Blu Ray player without a lot of bells and whistles, and this fit the bill. It was the least expensive one I could find, but the picture is good for playing DVDs.

Only buy this for the basic function of playing Blurays and DVDs. Those play well, does the job. I was able to hook this up to wired internet because I thought I could use it for basic Netflix, but no. Those features may as well not be available on this for how badly it will freeze up to the point where I have to unplug it because even the power button doesn't react.
