I'm still learning how to use the variety of different functions and options. Excellent information available in the menu selection to guide me through the process of getting my new player set up as needed.

This is my first and so far only blue ray player. It seems to work just as intended playing blue Ray disks and old school DVD’s work great too. The price was good and so far so good.

Great little bluray player easy to use have one already and ordered this second one for tv in bedroom.

Love this dvd player. Very easy to use and set up. You do have to purchase or own an hdmi cable though to complete setup.

Easy to use. My new smart TV has WiFi etc. so that made no difference to me. Just replacing an old DVD player. Curbside pick-up was nice (even though I could have carried the small box).

Bought as a gift for my sister, she can now play blue-rays. Not many people using dvd's anymore but nice to have during cable outages. Also you can buy dvd's cheap at flea markets

We wanted a simple and inexpensive DVD/Blu-ray player for the kids to use. This one meets both requirements. Just pop in a disc and press play. The price is very good also.

This was a great price for this LG DVD player. I was so surprised to see what great quality picture and sound it has. One thing I missed on it is that it doesn't give the length of time on how long the movie is running. Other than that, It's good.

This is a great, no frills, Blu-ray player. It does it’s job well, doesn’t make too much noise or overheat. But the remote is worthless, which is why it gets 3stars. To use the included remote I had to be standing directly in front of it and even then it still needed at least 3 tries before it would register. So I tried a universal remote, and while I had better luck, the range still sucks. No more than 5’. It’s inconvenient and annoying, and I wouldn’t buy this again. But not bad enough to make want to deal with the hassle of a return.

Had not purchased a dvd in quite a while, 15 years. Was not aware that an online download was necessary. Once that was taken care of, it took several trips back to Best Buy!, the dvd worked perfectly!

From setup to the use of remote, this DVD player is extremely easy to use. The buttons on a different player we have are hard to use; we often press the incorrect buttons. This LG player is so much easier.

Nice Blu-ray works well with my LG tv, Very clear picture.

Once I got a working cable, this was simple! Just attach the cable to the tv and the back of the player and plug it in. Don’t buy an expensive cable because it won’t work. Easy to use. Happy with my purchase.

I'm not a video connoisseur. In fact, I wasn't even in the market to buy a Blu-Ray player--I just wanted something to play DVDs on. But the price of this one caught my eye--and it was on sale. At that price, why not upgrade to Blu-Ray in the event that someone loans me a Blu-Ray disc? The player was easy to set up. It also connects to the internet via a LAN cable, but I haven't used that feature yet. Overall, a good value for someone who's not looking for anything fancy but wants to keep their video options open.

Bought this for a gift. The relative in question had never had a bluray and could set up and use without any help. That being said, I was happy as they were with this present. Great and easy.

Bought this for my sister. While not a 4k player, She seems to enjoy the quality of a Blu-ray and now looks for Blu-rays when she can, so that's a plus for tech savvys anywhere.

Recently purchased from Best Buy a new TV. Discovered I could no longer connect my outdated VCR/DVD player to the TV and needed to purchase a new video player. Went with this Blue Ray player on the advise of my grandson.

This little box plays EVERYTHING I load into it. The direct cable connection to our router represents no problem for me as I have powerline AC Ethernet adapters located close by. I needed just a disc player so the fact that it only has 6 built-in apps and no ability to download or add more is no biggie. BTW, the 6 apps are Vudu, Prime Video, YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, and Napster.

Works great and I was surprised at how easy it was to set up!

I bought this player so I can use it in different rooms and it works out very well for me I leave a HDMI cable in the TV's I plan to use it with and I just move the player plug and play great player
