This is a great, no frills, Blu-ray player. It does it’s job well, doesn’t make too much noise or overheat. But the remote is worthless, which is why it gets 3stars. To use the included remote I had to be standing directly in front of it and even then it still needed at least 3 tries before it would register. So I tried a universal remote, and while I had better luck, the range still sucks. No more than 5’. It’s inconvenient and annoying, and I wouldn’t buy this again. But not bad enough to make want to deal with the hassle of a return.

This was a great price for this LG DVD player. I was so surprised to see what great quality picture and sound it has. One thing I missed on it is that it doesn't give the length of time on how long the movie is running. Other than that, It's good.

Had not purchased a dvd in quite a while, 15 years. Was not aware that an online download was necessary. Once that was taken care of, it took several trips back to Best Buy!, the dvd worked perfectly!

Bought this for a gift. The relative in question had never had a bluray and could set up and use without any help. That being said, I was happy as they were with this present. Great and easy.

This little box plays EVERYTHING I load into it. The direct cable connection to our router represents no problem for me as I have powerline AC Ethernet adapters located close by. I needed just a disc player so the fact that it only has 6 built-in apps and no ability to download or add more is no biggie. BTW, the 6 apps are Vudu, Prime Video, YouTube, Netflix, Pandora, and Napster.

I'm not a video connoisseur. In fact, I wasn't even in the market to buy a Blu-Ray player--I just wanted something to play DVDs on. But the price of this one caught my eye--and it was on sale. At that price, why not upgrade to Blu-Ray in the event that someone loans me a Blu-Ray disc? The player was easy to set up. It also connects to the internet via a LAN cable, but I haven't used that feature yet. Overall, a good value for someone who's not looking for anything fancy but wants to keep their video options open.

From setup to the use of remote, this DVD player is extremely easy to use. The buttons on a different player we have are hard to use; we often press the incorrect buttons. This LG player is so much easier.

Once I got a working cable, this was simple! Just attach the cable to the tv and the back of the player and plug it in. Don’t buy an expensive cable because it won’t work. Easy to use. Happy with my purchase.

The product met our expectations. We were looking for an inexpensive, quality dvd player that would serve both regular dvd's and blu ray as well.

I bought this player so I can use it in different rooms and it works out very well for me I leave a HDMI cable in the TV's I plan to use it with and I just move the player plug and play great player

Pretty good picture, especially at the price I got it at. Never had much luck with LG products in the past so I was definitely skeptical of this product, but so far I have been pleased with my purchase.

Didn't notice is was 'wired only', (though it was well marked),but it is excellent in every other way for a basic Blue-ray player. Good ,small size and good amount of inputs. Plays great. Happy.

The LG replaced an older DVD player not designed for Blue Ray. The LG was very easy to plug in, works just fine and, unlike my previous unit, has an illuminated on/off light which I appreciate.

Recently purchased from Best Buy a new TV. Discovered I could no longer connect my outdated VCR/DVD player to the TV and needed to purchase a new video player. Went with this Blue Ray player on the advise of my grandson.

I got this for my mother who is 77 because it was a very basic player Nothing fancy, no extra buttons. Just put the disk in and play.

Great size and replacement for an older DVD that wasn't working. Seems to work just fine but haven't used it to watch DVDs yet. Nice to have the Blueray capability.

Works as expected, easy to install and set up, Simple to use remote.

This unit is the most basic Blu-ray player I could find. It doesn't have all the redundant crap that's already on every other piece of equipment.

I bought this product for my fiance for his birthday. He enjoys it. The only complaint he has is that when he loses the remote (which he does often) the player doesn't have play button.

It's an easy to connect dvd/blue ray player. You have to order a HDMI cable to connect it to the TV. Overall, its a good player and I paid a good price for it. It also has a remote control.
