Once connected it is ready to load and start up. Picture quality is excellent. I know having LG TV is a plus for this product.

His other player, which was at least a decade old stopped working. This one was on sale. I don't use any other features other than playing discs.

My first movie was "Bohemian Rhapsody" ... almost a good as in the huge theater. This will be a well-used item in the months ahead.

I guess technically you can play cds, MP3s as well if you are so inclined

It fails miserably as a streaming device. Player software update was installed before attempting to stream. As others have mentioned, CONSTANT stutter-freeze-buffering on a hi-speed WIRED connection. Totally unacceptable. And only 4- preloaded apps with no mechanism to download more. To summarize: Great basic disk-player, poor-to-useless as a 'smart' streaming device.

User interface not as friendly as my last Blu-ray player, which was less expensive. No problems with performance, and like my last blue ray player, fairly simple to set up.

This one is perfect. Easy to use and very inexpensive. I did not need for it to have WI-FI because m TV already had it.

It works great with their LG TV and ATT U-verse box. Thinking of getting one for myself!

It has streaming features but we did not hook that part up. We just wanted an easy to use player for dvd's and blue ray discs. This did the job.
