Poor noise reduction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't like this product to much the noise reduction isn't great . The people you're talking to can't hear you a lot of the time. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Not as great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like LG Bluetooth headsets, but this has been the worst one yet it moves more than the four previous one I have and your not about to walk as fair as the other one as well.

Not Perfect but Overall Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the sports model so it is smaller to keep a tighter fit. I have a 17.5 neck size and I'm just about the max neck size. Sound is improved over my old lg(bass is not very heavy) and good for music and talking. The mic is close to the neck on the left side and can get covered by clothing or if you til your head too much to the left. So far very pleased with the purchase.

Great concept. Needs improvement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Lg headset, and they sounded like a good idea. Past ones definitely needed some waterproofing. I found this one too small for my neck (I wear a 17.5" dress shirt). It sat halfway up my neck and only came around it a little over halfway. I was willing to deal with the smaller fit issues, but I couldn't live with the microphone issues. I drive truck, and everyone I talked with had difficulty hearing me unless I pulled the headset up my neck as far as it would go -- which is fine when alone, but looks quite odd in public. And, of course, gravity doesn't help it stay up there. I got tired of shouting all the time while on phone calls. My previous models (700 & 1100), had none of these issues, and would still be mine if they hadn't worn out from use. If you only need headphones for listening to music, and have a small neck, they're probably just fine for you.

Dissapointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been an LG Tone headset user since the HBS-730's. After I replaced them with the HBS-750's my disappointment started to grow. Great sound quality, but you lose some of the volume. I went through two sets of the HBS-750's because I could no longer get the HBS-730's (btw, the HBS-730's were the best!) My next set are these, the HBS-A80 which I purchased yesterday. These are not acceptable at $129. If I turn my head to the left, I lose Bluetooth signal. I have had two calls today that the persons on the other line asked to call back because they could not understand what I was saying. I personally don't recommend this model of LG. Please bring back the HBS-730's!

Uh, OK but not great.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keeps breaking up, cutting in and out. Twice the voice in the music started slowing down as if the battery was spent. The pros are that they are water resistant and have retractable earbuds. The wires connecting the earbuds to the neck unit on each side are very very thin. How can they work well like this? They deliver OK sound to me. Will return these because they cut in and out and will probably most likely try the LG Platinums.

Good Exercise Headphone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're big on quality audio, look elsewhere; if you're big on design and quality of construction, look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a headset that you can exercise while jogging, biking, lifting weights without the worries of sweat damaging your investment then these wireless earphones are for you. If you're looking for a headset that can receive calls, read incoming text or email headings to you while exercising then these are great. My last similar headsets from LG lasted 1 year before one earplug went dead. This go around I bought the extended warranty to replace my headset, a lesson learned for spending this much money. The Bluetooth range seems to be better on this model than my last model, so far no complaints.

Unreliable connection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comfortable to wear, but having it connected to my Samsung Galaxy S7 is problematic. I carry my phone on my belt above my back right pocket in an OtterBox Defender case. Within a few minutes of clipping my phone on my belt, the Bluetooth starts disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly. If I take a call, it sounds like an echo in a tin can, unless I remove the phone from the holster and hold it, completely defeating the purpose of having a hands free headset. The only place I really get its full potential is in my truck when it's sitting in my door. I sent it in for repair, and got it back with a hand written note basically stating that they didn't look at it because I didn't send the original proof of purchase (unit is only two months old), even though I was able to send a screenshot of my purchase through Best Buy to a tech on LGs technical support page on Facebook. The rep stated that would be sufficient, but then I get the unit back with the hand written note: No POP, returned as is. So I basically have a $130 plastic horseshoe. This experience will definitely make me rethink ever purchasing any LG product if this is their level of customer service.

Not for bigger people
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned 2 pair LG Infinum and loved them, but they only lasted about a year each. I used them for work, and I sweat alot, so figure that could be issue. So this time I got the active because they are water/ sweat proof. I hate them!!! They are shorter then the others and don't fit on my neck good. They slide around my neck, etc. Also the ear buds don't seem to reach as far. And I have had lots of people say they can't hear me, so I end up turning Bluetooth off and just talking directly on phone. Only had 2 weeks, but plan on getting something else already.

Don't waste your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great design physically, and when the audio works it sounds great, but the audio hardly ever works,. It garbles the audio severely and constantly. The microphones are awful too. No one can't ever hear you on it. I'd say maybe it was just my headset but the last 3 LGs I've had have had the same issues. Hopefully they've FINALLY addressed their poor product performance with some of then new around the neck headsets they've recently launched. We'll see I guess.

Stopped Working after a few months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have purchased 3 LG headsets. They are expensive, but unfortunately they aren't reliable. The first set I bought broke in two, so I bought the "active," because surely those will hold up better. Nope. The right earbud stopped working after just a few months, and the repair/return policy is so frustrating. I finally made it through the process, so I'll update if my headphones ever get returned. They estimate that after they repair my headset (who knows how long that will take), they'll ship them back (from TX to ID) in 12-15 short days. Give me a break.

tricked again!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is my 3 time purchasing LG neckband headphones and this is by far the worst product i have used. the grip material around the collar is a little sticky and yet still the neckband does not stay in place. My biggest complaint is the constant stuttering. I use a samsung 7 edge phone with the latest software and it just can't keep playing smoothly. i am not sure if its the bluetooth or the very thin speaker wires that are causing this. these are going back!

Died after a month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Design, fit, and sound quality seemed fine. After 6 weeks the unit no longer accepted a charge (purchased 7/19/2017). Charging light remained red, would not power on. Far too expensive for this to be acceptable. My first LG headset lasted four years, and the HBS810 I use for day to day is over a year old, but cost me significantly less.

Does not hold up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Currently on my 4th pair of these head phones. Thankfully i have the protection plan because these headphones will not last longer than 3 months. Over priced and not durable.

Don't waste your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to buy these after using my tone pros for the last three years. The new set performed poorly when compared to the three year old set. I am returning these and going back to my old set. I constantly have to repeat myself to callers and the function where I talk to my phone is always getting what I am trying to do wrong

Garbage In a Box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are far from perfect, I bought these thinking "Oh they are going to be better than my previous set" I was very wrong. These things are GARBAGE IN A BAG, and that's where they belong, from the constant dropping of calls to the terrible microphone, these are all around junk. Would not recommend these to anyone!
