AMPLIFIES BACKGROUND NOISE.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In all fairness music sounds absolutely great. Phone calls on the other hand suck. It picks up every little back ground noise and amplifies it, i have nothing but complaints from people on the other end.

LOVE THESE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these after trying the Samsung Gear Circle, which had stopped working after only a week..So I tried these LG and must say they are AWESOME! They sync with my Samsung Note phone, the sound is clear for music and audio books and phone calls! They charge up fast and easily and stay charged for quite a while. I am also quite pleased with how they wear around the neck, so comfortable that I sometimes forget I'm wearing them.

Great Headset for an above average user.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are three different models of this headset. The Tone Pros, Tone Ultras, and the Tone Infinims. After talking with a large number of my friends about the differences I decided to spend the money and purchase the Infinims. Overall I am not disappointed. They are a fantastic headset. I use them when I ride my motorcycle as well as when I am at work and at home. I love the fact that the ear buds retract easily into the headset and the bluetooth stays connected pretty well. The only reason I would not give it a 5 star is because I believe that they could be a bit louder but for the quality of the sound I do not mind giving up some of the volume for good sound especially since they are still plenty loud. Overall I would reccomend to anyone who is looking for a great headset without the annoying wires and someone wanting a headset for travel or everyday use.

Great all around device
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally had worries that the piece resting on my neck would become bothersome but it was just the opposite after awhile I didn't even notice it was there. I usually have it connected to both my phone and my tablet and I have only had one issue-- I do notice if I forget it's connected to my tablet and walk out of range whilst on my phone -- I get that annoying "out of range trying to reconnect" message in my ears -- repeatedly It has a decide range when I am talking on the phone -- I've had my phone plugged in my room (on the 3rd floor) and been talking to someone whilst in the basement and it was still a clear connection The sound is crisp and the bass is not over powering to my eardrums like some head phones when you turn up the volume The battery life is pretty good -- I can generally use it for 2 work days at least before i have to charge up

A Pretty Nice Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved alot of things about this headset. - the elegant look - the awesome sound quality - the improvemnents on the ease of use - better noise cancellation - the super convient retractable earbuds - earbuds fit nice in my ears and stay very well - amazing battery life My only tiny complaint is that it is definitetly not as comfortable to wear around my neck as my previous lg tones pro were. My pros virtually disappeared from around my neck but the infinims never do. I think its because of the added weight and the lack of flexibility. It always feels like a U shaped piece of plastic is always hugging my neck and just doesnt want to let go. Other than that these headsets are really nice. Not sure if they are truly worth $150 though, $99.99 sounds like a more fair price.

Gotta give em five on these
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the LG Tone 730s. They were great but the magnets weren't strong enough to hold the buds in place. The Infiniums remove the magnets entirely for this ingeniously simple retraction system. Though I like it better than the magnet system I do fear that the ear buds may short over time and I don't dare push the retract button without offering some guidance and cushioning from my fingers - it retracts very fast and stops very sudden. Both not good for the ear buds. I'd like to think that LG tested and allowed for this stress on the ear buds so I'm gonna keep them. The sound is MUCH louder and clearer than the 730s I have. The bass is still a little hollow and mostly non-exestent but its hard to find any earbud headsets with decent bass sans Bose QCi20 but those seal into your ear and are not wireless. The battery life on these things is incredible! Every series just keeps improving and mine were even fully charged right out of the box! You can expect about 13 to 15 hours of use between charges. I highly recommend these to anyone that wants a great sounding set of wireless ear buds!

Opted for these instead of Jaybird Bluebuds X
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially, I was leaning towards the Jaybird Bluebuds X stereo bt headset, but opted to get the Tone Infinim's instead due to a couple factors. 1) it gives me the option of keeping one ear open w/o having the other earbud dangling loosely. 2) Harmon Kardon partnered with LG and my experiences with Harmon Kardon have been fantastic, when it comes to sound quality. Based on other reviews I've read, these also have longer battery life than the Jaybird Bluebuds X. I didn't intend on using these to workout, but after using them I decided to purchase a second pair specifically for that. The X factor for me, was Amazon having a sale that Best Buy was happy to price match, since they were being sold and shipped by Amazon. Were it not for that sale price, I might have held off until there was a sale. These have to be the most underrated stereo Bluetooth earbuds on the market. Some may not like the neck design, but I find the retractable function to be amazing and would recommend anybody to give these a try.

These are GREAT!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the best Bluetooth headset I've owned. I love that you can link 2 phones to it. I'm a tech & use these ALL DAY. They're discrete. You can listen to music too. You have full control of the music, play/pause/forward/rewind. I use them for approximately 9-10 hrs nonstop & the power only drops to half. Highly recommend these!

Loses signal to phone often.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset loses the signal from the phone in mid conversation. I must pick up the phone and put it top my ear. After the phone call is over it reconnects sometimes. It's intermittent. I would blame the phone but I have owned other Bluetooth headsets and this has never happened. I purchased the extended warranty and will be taking it to get it looked at. I am too busy for this. If they automatically tell me it's my phone without looking at the device we are going to have problems.

great design and battery life, not so great sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a city that recently enacted a city ordinance requiring drivers to be free devices with their phones (and other tech), so I was excited to have an excuse to get this product as a "necessary expense". I had my eyes on the Infinim for a couple of months now, thinking it has the combination of great design and sound. Well, I'll say I was satisfied on one of those counts. One of the most annoying things I endure with my EarPods, is the untangling of them, So much that if I ever wanted to use my EarPods to carry on a conversation from an incoming call, well, that couldn't happen. So the design with retractable earbuds is a-maz-ing. I think the lg's around the neck design has a leg up on their competitors that live on the ear. With infinims, the earbuds are there when you need it, and can be retracted inches away when you don't. As far as sound goes, when having an phone conversation, listening to a podcast, or an audio book, the sound quality is good and is not disruptive or annoying to the listener. When listening to music is a whole different story. I am an owner of an iPhone 6 plus, and can honestly say the EarPods that came with the phone are dramatically better than the infinims. Yes i said the earphones that came with the iPhone are better. And it's not just a little bit. It's by a lot. The sound from the EarPods is richer and has more volume and bass. Now in lg infinim's defense, lg incorporated apt-x technology in the infinims. I did a little research, and apt-x simply compresses the music more before bluetooth-ing it out to your device. Theory is the sound should be better. However, both devices in the bluetooth pairing need to have apt-x to use the technology. Otherwise, the apt-x won't be applied to the sound, which is the case with me since iPhone doesn't have apt-x in their iOS. Before everybody grabs pitchforks, and go to Cupertino to complain to Mr. Cook why their iPhone doesn't have apt-x, I have a theory why it's not on there. I have read a few reviews that say something like: The sound is great, but the pairing connection breaks about once an hour. Apple tends to not incorporate a technology until the user experience is hands down the best. I think the apt-x, while produces better sound, makes the bluetooth connectivity more buggy. For me, the Harman Kardon sound is totally lost on me. There is 3 EQ settings on the Infinim: normal, bass boost, treble boost. I go through all three and can't tell the difference. The best I can describe the sound quality is equivalent to the earbuds Apple had since the first iPod before the EarPods redesign with the iPhone 5. A few things about user experience. If you have android, the google play store has an Lg tone app, that enables the user to tap into some extra features. I don't have it so I can't elaborate on it. On iPhone, I noticed that holding the call/end call button when the infinims are not in use, I call the last number called out. But if I am playing a song/podcast, and press the call/end call button, I activate Siri. There is a jogging mode on the device. I lightly jogged about 100 feet while hustling at work, and felt that the housing going up and hitting my collarbone on the way down would not make this device not good jogging companion. A mildly uncomfortable experience at a short distance is all I can say. But I am on the skinny side, so maybe I just need some fat on my bones. I am marginally saying this product is a good one to have. The design is almost too good to pack up. I just the sound could match it. When listening to music for long periods at a time, I switch to my EarPods. Not joking, if we were comparing TV's, I would say it is like VHS and Blu-Ray. Side notes: Battery life is fantastic, but I would personally trade that for better sound. When this product was released stateside, bluetooth v4.0 was available. I don't know why they choose bluetooth v3.0. I think that could also improved the overall user experience.

The Good. The Bad. The Truth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG has really done a great job with these. I will be as honest as I can about these considering I work for Best Buy and I want to make sure people understand why these are great. But I wont leave out the bad, don't worry... I have been a fan of the LG Tones for a while now but these are by far my favorite. Having the option to keep the wires hidden was very attractive. It was always a bother with the old tones and it just looked weird having all of the loose wire on your neck. Now although many people don't like the fact that the wires on these new tones are thin but I don't mind at all, it's not like it's going to be hanging out where you will be pulling them by accident. that's why they are RETRACTABLE and trust me, the wire is strong enough. These are LG's Premium Tones and they sound, feel and really are premium. The only thing that I didn't like about them is the ear buds because they feel strange in the ear. I ended up using my own personal ear buds. other than that, the battery life last very long. I don't have to charge mine for 2-3 days. Cool features on this is that It has 3 built in equalizer presets. (BASS, TREBLE, NEUTRAL). you can reject calls, also while you're on the call you can select mute straight from the headset. transferring calls is another option. voice recognition which was on previous models but since they have upgraded the microphone it recognizes your voice a lot better. It's packed with a lot of features that many can benefit from. It's hard to decide when you have people saying it has connectivity issues but i have not had any. so if you do get one that has some you might have a defective model... So Ultimately it is up to you to decide but to put it plain and simple... PROS: -Great Battery Life -Elegant Look -Retractable ear buds -Great Sound -High Definition Microphone -Voice Recognition CONS: - Ear buds feel strange - Not as flexible as previous tones ( Which i feel that is a pro for me because they don't flop around as easily) If I had to rate it 1 out of 10 I will say it's a 9.5 out of 10. If anyone has any Questions please feel free to ask any questions and if you are local I work at store 219 in Oklahoma City (Go Thunder!)

This is the best bluetooth headset ever!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my headset for about 2 months now. This product is absolutely amazing, I have no complaints about it what so ever. Often times I forget I am wearing it. If you have an android phone the headset gets even better too! I love the reading text messages feature. ant it will vibrate on your neck if you don't feel your phone vibrate like me this is awesome. I am an avid music listener and the sound quality is awesome. it doesn't quite beat the Samsung headphones that came with my galaxy s6, but it comes extremely close. I have seen complaints about how little noise cancelling these headphones have. I don't know what those people call noise cancellation, but in the school hallways I cant hea a thing besides my music in stunning quality. (something Samsung didn't give their headphones. The headset it so light that I forget I wwear it anf the wire retractability is great. the thinness of the wires have been a concern to people but when I wear my headset I have never caught the wires on anything before so I would say that they are pretty safe. One of the main reasons I bought these was their battery life. I made a 15 hour road trip and was listening to music the whole way the battery life on the headset is outstanding. normally I can go 2 days without charging. I have no doubt in my mind that I would buy the again or recommend them to a friend. I absolutely love them.

Sound is Great and Very Lightweight
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted something for work that was discreet yet sounded good. I see what earbuds my co-workers are wearing so I did a little research and noticed these were brand new and they had good reviews so I asked for them as one of my birthday gifts a couple of weeks ago. They sound good and the retractable earbuds are super cool. If you are use to the Beats Audio, these have a lot less bass so you know that up front. However, I can walk all the way from my cube to the bathroom which is about 100 yards or more (guessing) and still have Sirius satellite radio app going strong through these!! Great reception. It's a good purchase.

Turns on and off at any given time after 1 month
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a great blue tooth but after a month of use, it would power on and off by itself. During a phone call it would turn off, even when not in use, it would power cycle itself. I'm glad I bought the warranty for this pricey Bluetooth. Let's see if the honor it and fix the problem.

IT SUCKS!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a few months one of the ear buds stopped working and shortly after it began to disconnect and connect on and off to my phone. Obviously I don't have the receipt any more since it was a gift thus can not sent it back to LG for repairs. $169.00 down the drain!!!

Great design for hands free
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great concept for hands free, but if you take a lot of calls or listen to a lot of music stick with the original Tones. The retractable earbuds failed from normal use, and is much heavier than the regular Tones.

Best Bluetooth headset money can buy.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been an owner of a hbs-750 for a real long time. (Lg tone pro). But the hbs-900 (lg tone infinum blows it out the water) Sound quality will be as high as its weakest parts. Meaning if you have a phone that doesn't support high quality audio codecs then you can buy the best of the best and audio still won't sound good. Aptx codec on the headset makes a big difference. But to use it your device needs to have aptx too. Testing with aptx and without makes a different but not to the untrained ear. My nexus 6 doesn't have aptx but it does have other high end codecs so sound reproduction sounds its best on the earphones. Yes, skimping on features was a bad move by LG but they even said it themselves that this isn't the earphones to go out jogging with. This is when you want to sit down and listen to music or watch videos in private. Built for high quality sound and made to be used in such applications. The 800 and 750 have the extra features as they are for the more active people. For example mutting the noise of air hitting the mic as you job is very nice. I would put it like this. Get this earphone if you need higher quality sound around the house or in the office. Get the other models if you are athletic and plan to use it while taking a jog. I have one of each for that exact reason.
