This was recommended to me by a pilot who had used many of these and he said it was the best he'd found. He was right. Great quality, long battery life, so comfortable I forget I have it on and easy to use.

These are really good. The thing to think about is I have had the LG $69.99 version for a couple of years and other than the retractable portion I think they work the same. I am happy with them but and I got lucky and got them on sale for $80.00 and would be disappointed if I would have paid the full retail price of $199.99. I have nothing negative to say about them but nothing great either.

The Bluetooth works perfect. The sound is clear. The battery last for a long time before it runs out. Infect, I'll surely recommend this ear piece to everyone who is looking for Bluetooth

I love the sound quality, the length that the battery lasts (12+ hours of constant use), ease of use. Love that the earbuds retract. I always recommend them to people who ask about them.

This is my third LG Tone headphones and they are by far the best. I was upgrading my last pair of LG Tones 900 series and I bought the Beats, then the Bose, and both just hurt my ears. The Beats had good base, the Bose really had a good sound, but both just hurt my ears. I then went back to my old favorite brand and these were perfect. They have the best app that works with my Android phone, which works great with phone calls, and text messages spoken to me. The ear buds feel good and the sound is very good. Very happy.

I needed a new Bluetooth because my old Plantronics was on the fritz. I first purchased the LG Active because they were water/sweat resistant, but they wouldn't fit my neck correctly (I have a thick neck) and my wife couldn't hear me while driving, which defeated the purpose of a headset. I returned those and bought these and couldn't be happier. They fit my neck well, have 2 microphones that pick up really well. My wife can hear me clearly while driving with my window cracked and wearing a jacket or coat. Although the default volume is low, they have excellent sound for both phone use and music, easy to operate controls, and the retractable ear buds are a great feature, no dangling or snagging, just push a button on either side for them to retract back into the unit. To read the instruction booklet that came with them you will need a magnifying glass to read as it is written very small. Several features of the headset are unavailable unless you download the Android App from the market, but they aren't that important and the headset works just fine without all the extra bells and whistles the app allows. Although more expensive than several other headsets that were available, I consider them worth the extra money for this design type.

The LG Tone Platinum puts out good quality sound. I was expecting a more powerful bass but I know it's difficult to do with such small drivers. If I was going to do this again I think I would go with an over the ear model. It was difficult to decide since you are not able to test them before you make your purchase. I am most disappointed with the microphones inability to pick up my voice even in a quiet room. The people I have conversations with simply can't hear my voice. I've been spoiled by my Plantronics Pro Bluetooth earpiece and expected the same quality of sound transmitted to the person on the other side of the phone. The microphone is pretty much useless to me now which Is a big part of the reason I made this purchase. Instead of being able to use these at work I now only use them when mowing the grass. There again an over the ear model would have been better. I'll soon be looking for headphones with a boom so the mic will be closer to my mouth.

Overall a good headset, its sound quality, design and feel along with the classy gold finish are what I like most, it isnt as loud or as much bass but if you realize how sensitive your ears are and care about your future ability to hear people, this is a good overall sound set up. I like mine pretty good and I am a tough critic.

Everything about feels solidly built. The Kevlar cords are incredibly tough. Sound quality is excellent and the battery life is amazing. Great product.

I received this headset for Christmas. It's easy to use. The sound is clear. The only reason I gave it a 4 (instead of 5) is because the noise canceling is not great. I was told that the person I called could hear a swishing sound from my treadmill which is very quite. Otherwise, great product. Very comfortable around the neck.

Bought on a special deal with > 50% off. Don't believe it is worth $200 (normal price). Sound is good. Takes a little getting use to. Don't normally have something around my neck. Wanted to get a case for carrying it but need to be careful about size. One offered by BestBuy.com did not fit the headset. it was too small.

This head set has great sound quality, even when you're farther away from your phone. The battery life is spectacular and its comfortable.

Brought it as a gift for my mom. She loves it! Extremely handy and comfortable! Does not get in the way of her working at her job like the other headphones with all the wires. My mom is known to tear the headphone wires or misplace her headphones completely. This is a great investment for my mom. It has made her more productive at work and does not alway have to reach for her phone to answer it. I have put in enough insurance claims for her phone that I do not recommend her reaching for her phone anymore.

Compared these to 2 other headsets! Sound and base far surpassed all others tried. Battery life is great. Lots of features. Nice look and feel. Worried about how thin the earbud cords are and heard stories about the retractable cords not retracting very well or earbuds shorting out if the cords are pulled to hard. I have not had this issue yet but bought the protection plan just in case. Wish they were water and sweat resistant though. Overall best headset that I have tried. Definitely would recommend!

Great for all day wear. Great battery life. Bluetooth range could be better. Seems to have ghost noise in the background, and at times some static. I wear them every day. Bass is not great. Good for us old timers that enjoy a good 70's and 80's classic. I would give it a 3 and a half.

I am a HUGE Samsung fan so I tried to switch from the old LG Tone to the New Samsung that came out- I have tried several other headphones/Bluetooth devices. There is not ONE, ANYWHERE that can hang with these LGs. They have the longest battery life ever. I used it for 3 days without charging. It is also easy to pair and use. If I had to give one complaint, it would be that i would have liked them to get louder, but I haven't found any device that gets louder so it is still top in its class.

They work well. They connect quickly and easily. They are light weight and you barely feel them. You do need to be careful when you pull the earbuds out, so they don't get damaged. They do a good job of eliminating 85% of background noise. Make sure you don't cover the microphone with the seat belt of your car or else the other person won't be able to hear you. Not to mention, it is aesthetically pleasing but I would have liked it in Rose Gold, they only offer it in Black, Silver and Gold.

I really like these headphones. They're sleek and comfortable. Sound is just ok. It's fine for phone, but not great for music (lacks bass). Also, if you wear these directly against your skin (as opposed to a collared shirt), the friction will cause unwanted noise.
