    It definitely wasn't worth the difference in price. I bought the Tone Active and tried the Platinums after I had already purchased the Actives. I sent the Platinum back and kept the Tone Active. They felt cheap and I wasn't too impressed with the sound.

    Sweet device. I Love the sound. Not too crazy about how thin the cables are but I love that they are retractable.

    I bought these for a friend. He had me return them immediately as they were too flimsy. They would probably work perfectly if you only used them in your car or in an office, but he works outside and did not feel they would hold up to the wear and tear.
