I kept snagging my ear bud cord and pulling them out of my ears while listening and doing anything else. With this, I can leave the iPod on the desk and walk around unencumbered by a cord.

Very handy for hands free

I use it mostly for listening to audio books and checking texts (via Siri) or voice calls while driving.

The wire frayed one day about two months ago and that was it! I tried another type headset, that after an hour gave me a headache so I returned it. Sales person told me about this 2nd generation and so far I love it! Hope it holds up this time, great connectivity!
