Sound quality terrible

This new one has really poor sound quality. I find myself asking people to repeat themselves. This is the second one that I have purchased and nothing has changed sound wise.

In all truth I own cheep $10 drug store headphones that sound better... And just as sad is how bad the phone calls sound and work. I would recommend purchasing a cheaper pair or look for one that has better sound quality.
