I bought a new laptop with new CD/DVD drive, so I bought this to install all my software than I had on CD. It works fine, the connection when in and out so the install took a good amount of time, but ultimately got what I needed out of it.

The DVD comes with software that enables me to do a limited number of things, burn, copy, etc. You can buy extensions to the software that will enable you to do a lot more. The low price is what motivated me to buy this DVD.

The external DVD/CD drive is great. It is easy to plug into the USB port, use it when needed, and then unplug and store when not needed. Glad I bought it.

This external drive works great on my Mac, and the price is much better than Apple's external drive while sporting pretty much all the same features.

This is very easy to set up and use - just what you'd hope for. It looks nice, too. It's a bit slow. I wish I had spent more for more speed.

For the price it had been doing a good job. Plugged it into the is connector on my Netgear router to backup my laptop. Downloaded Netgear RealVault and backup does it's stuff.

Needed a device to load software on my notebook. Inexpensive and read function works like a charm. Have not tested the write capability but have no reason to believe it's not as equally exceptional.

Awesome product and don't need external power, that's a big plus so I can nowkeep it in my computer bag whenever I take the Suface PR0 3 out with me. Fast play, and I got a lot of my cd's stored into my itunes digitally now. Great price and high quality.

This external drive was rather inexpensive compared to other products of similar quality, and is incredibly thin for a high-speed DVD reader/writer.

I needed this drive for my Macbook Air so that I could view books and such for college. This works great very simple to use, small and lightweight.

I have a new laptop and currently own a small business. When I went to put a disc in my disc drive, I did not realize I didnt have one. Weird that most new laptops do not come with one. This one did the job and gave me what I needed. :)

Got my daughter a mac book and she wanted an external DVD player. Bought the LG for half the cost of the apple and she is very happy with the LG. Does everything she needs and has no complaints. Plays back videos and music perfectly.
