This product works amazing it's very comparable with apple and the price is much cheaper than having to bye a apple product.

Super light weight, works great, works with my 2015 MacBook Air. At this price point, I'm amazed just how well it works.

LG support was quick to help but could not provide software that was lost. Tech said that software was not needed but why pay for something and not get it.

This is the first external CD/DVD drive I've had to use. I'm not happy that laptops no longer have CD/DVD drives built in them. I guess buying an external drive is a necessary evil with new technology.

This is my first time using an external dvd drive. Works well, it's not noisy at all. I do miss having a drive in the computer (already have enough stuff to carry) but it did what it was suppose to do.

I purchased this compact DVD drive for use with my iMac. So far it is working well. I dinged it a star as it is made of light plastic and you have to be careful inserting and removing disks.

It was a little hard to figure out how to use it the first time but now that its going it has been a life saver because my new laptop would not make CDs and I need to make them for my photography clients.

My new laptop didn't come with a drive but I had a lot of software that I needed to install was on disc so it did what I needed, I just wish I had gone with a blu-ray so I could play my blu-ray movies

I have a thin laptop without a drive and use this with it. It works quickly and is generally reliable. I have had a couple of discs be unreadable so that's the reason for 4 stars.

This is a great device. It was significantly cheaper than the two other models in the store so I asked what is was missing. I was told it actually had more functionality than the more expensive models.

This DVD writer works perfect for what I needed. It fits nicely on the foot pad of the iMac, making it easily accessible.
