External CD for copying CD's to PC. Works most of the time but at times can't read CD for some reason. Generally just take out and try again and it works.

Since I'm always a few years behind on technology I didn't realize that many new laptops don't have CD drives. For the price this does exactly what it is supposed to do and saved me a few bucks downloading software I already owned on CD/DVD

The disc reader is great for when you need to copy stuff off or put stuff on your laptop. Since most laptops are now made without them, this is a great alternative

I bought a external DVD online and it failed out of the box! returned and got this one for $15 less and it works. I haven't had it but it worked fine when I needed it.

Inexpensive, lightweight and fast. Comes with the cord you need. What more can I say?

I recently got a "Surface" computer which needed a CD/DVD player. This product is perfect for use with the Surface.

Works as advertised. I picked it up on sale which was great. Nothing to do with the product itself, but so few programs require the product at this point.

Great product if you are looking for a compact, CD reader and writer. I have not used it to to write any CD's yet, but it has read the CD's I have and did it very well.

I like it's compact size and runs perfectly out of the box both in Windows and Linux.

Bought this to go with my new touchscreen laptop since the laptop does not have a dvd player. It feels like a piece of junk but it did the job and the price was right.

Nothing fancy. It's light, compact, very portable and works. No bells or whistles and perfect for occasional use with a portable PC.

It is probably fine on a PC. I can't use the programming properly on my MAC. Sometimes I have to eject the DVD to start it again. Plays fine otherwise.

Bought this to use as a dvd player for my dell 2 in 1. It wouldn't read dvds at first so i had to download a program that would tell it to do so. Since then i've had no problems

My big LG DVD Writer went bad after being in elements of use. I got this one because I needed one right away and love it. Definitely recommend this for on the go use!!!

I bought this for my office. The equipment is easy to use. However, the software that it comes with for a burning DVD/CD program is not useful and it only allows you to use for at least once. Then you have to buy the whole software. This is the only thing I am giving it a 3 stars. Other than, the product is great.

Our Samsung tablet began to freeze or die while using it. We needed something new. My wife has a MacBook and Iphone, so switching to an Apple product came naturally.
