Needed to get an external unit due to laptop unit fail and this one really solved the issue. Lightweight and fits in my bag easily.

Fast processor, light weight, very user frendly, great computer

This is a great drive. Had one before that was to much plastic and it felt cheep. This one feel like it is much better made. I like it a lot.

The portable DVD Writer is a necessity for my new computer, it's a bit confusing for me but that's because I'm not very tech savy.

I would actually give it 3.5 stars. It worked fine for 21 months. I used it to import CDs, create DVDs, and listen to a few audio books. Yesterday, in the middle of my current audio book, it just stopped working. I guess maybe you shouldn't expect more from something that only cost about 25 bucks. Based on that, I'd recommend it as something inexpensive that worked well until it didn't.

I bought this product last year and it didn't work but I decided to give it another try and the second purchase worked just fine.

This is a great little DVD player for watching movies on our new laptop that does not have one included. Also quickly writes music CDs for use in the car.

I just needed a cheap DVD player so I could play DVDs on my MacBook Pro. This works just fine. I didn't install any additional drivers or software - just plugged it in and was good to go. It is really light and thin. It doesn't seem all that extra durable, but I just leave it on a shelf when not in use, so I'm not too worried about it.

This computer is handy for basic stuff, which is all I needed it for. It does tend to process long at times but overall good.

Operational instructions not too helpful. First purchase defective. Returned to store and replaced and checked by Geek Squad. Working well.

It's a great size and it does the job perfectly. You can't beat that!
