Great for Mac

Instead of buying the apple brand, you can buy the LG that works with Mac and spend less money on it and get great use out of the DVD writer player. Watch movies or anything you would like to do and not worry about if it works because it's a perfect match for the Mac and product itself.

Not so silent removable drive...

The product boasted about ultra quiet playing capacity; however, it makes an audible noise with a "grinding" quality when being used. I have to sit a book atop it to stop the noise. Other than that small inconvenience, this drive gets the job done.

External CD burner

Our sales associates advised we could easily use an external device and guided us towards the selection. I have already used it to create a slideshow of 400+ images for a 75th birthday party and couldn't be happy. I was easy to use with no problems at all.
