His laptop, of course, doesn't have a disc drive therefore he needed something small but dependable. The young man at BB kept me from sending a portable DVD player to this drive. Saving money and space! My son loves it and may get another one for my nephew.

Great for the money

She then purchased some software that came on cd and wasn't working properly to download it from the site, so this was the best alternative. simple set up, completely plug and play

I had just recently bought a new laptop and knew I would need a CD/DVD drive for some data I have stored on CD/DVD's. Also, I felt I would need to have one on hand if I wanted to watch any of my movies that I have on DVD. The sales associate recommended this model to me
