This is a good external drive, you have to have room for it to pop open to put the disk in or remove it.

Since new computers are being sold without DVD drives, sometimes you need an external drive to load new software or play your existing video DVDs and this drive does the trick. Small, lightweight and with plug-and-play capabilities, it was an easy solution to loading up our new computer with favorites.

My wife requires this gadget for learning new routines as an aerobics instructor. Indispensable and cost efficient.

Very useful for our needs. Provides just what we expect from reading CD'S and ability to watch movies.

Very portable. You'll need a program of you're using this on a computer without a built in player. (I used VLC and it works fine.) seems durable enough. It still works fine after a couple days tromping in a backpack. Nice and quiet. Wish it was Blu-ray, but it's still a great DVD player.

It's so light, you would think it's a toy. Apart from that, it works great; just plug and play! Comes with wire. ... but with all honesty, I think the days are passing for CDs/DVDs .. we're in the digital age where a USB flash drive is more appropriate for what CDs/DVDs have been used for all this time.

Very happy with this product as it permits reading of CD and DVD media. The compact size of this external optical drive is very convenient and would work with any PC platform with USB ports. With many PC platforms no longer containing optical drive this is a very economical solution.

Product works very well. Runs DVDs on my Mac. It was a little more flimsy than I was expecting
