    I did have a problem with continually getting a message every time I logged on, if I wanted to let LG control my programs. I answered yes, I answered no, I "xd" out and it kept coming back. Since I had occasion to use my Geek Squad for another matter, they straightened that out for me. But It was irritating.

    This product works beautifully. I purchased it to go with my new Dell laptop that did not come with a cd/rw drive. I have used it a couple of times to install programs. Have not used to to play a DVD movie as yet but am confident it will work just fine.

    my computer has no cd/dvd drive, so this works. the price is right when it's on sale because it is made very cheaply and breaks very easily if not handled very carefully. however, it's good for dvd movies, cd music, and backup to disc.
