    We got this when we bought a new laptop because the new laptop has no DVD drive. The truth is, so far we haven't needed to use it. That's why I gave it a 3 star rating (I was forced to enter something). My advice is to wait and see if you need one before you get it. You may find it's unnecessary.

    This is my first time purchasing a hard drive. I needed more storage to save Premiere projects, files and videos for school. The hard drive was very easy to set up on my MacBook Pro. I expect to purchase another hard drive for work in the future.
