    Great drive at a good price. The only problem I had was with the installation software. The software does not play DVDs on Windows 10. You will need an additional application for that which you can download for free.

    My son ordered a computer game that arrived on DVD. Unfortunately, no DVD drive on computer. Bought this at Best Buy in a pinch, connected it to the computer, and it worked great!

    I purchased a new Samsung Spin that did not have a disc drive. For $35 dollars, you cannot beat a USB connected drive. To have this feature installed on new laptops will cost you about $100! Product works well and meets my needs.

    I bought this to backup my macpro but I found it difficult to transfer photo files from Macpro to this drive. Something about the photo files in macpro that makes it difficult to find so that I can transfer to the drive. Guess I will use it for my PC instead!

    We purchased this drive because our new HP Pavillion laptop did not have a cd drive. To load software and other things(pictures, etc.) we purchased this drive. The software was easy to load adnthe drive works great.

    My new Macbook Pro does not have a CD/DVD drive, so I needed an external drive to run various programs I do not wish to download, such as TurboTax. I bought this one after a modest amount of research, and it has worked fine so far.

    I bought this item because I use a 15" Macbook Pro that doesn't have a CD drive,, so I'm really happy that this DVD drive works as it should with my laptop. There's not much else to say about it, but I'd highly recommend this product.

    I bought this external dvd drive to avoid having to bring my all in one computer in only to have my dvd drive replaced. It would have been more expensive to replace the one in my computer. The external drive was a more affordable fix.
