    Wanted the ability to watch DVDs on my Surface tablet. Product works only issue was finding suitable program to use on Surface that was compatible. More of a Surface issue than the external drive. Works fine now.

    This product is still fairly new to me. It was suggested by the salesperson and the price was right. I have used once, so far, to create a DVD of a slide show I put together. The results were excellent. No complaints whatsoever.

    Not the best DVD player but for the price it's okay. I've run into a few DVD playback errors on discs that are flawless. Also it won't eject the disk from the device when you press the button for some reason, it can only be ejected manually from the computer.

    Most computers today do not come with a CD/DVD drive, mainly because most things are cloud based. This drive is easy to use, took mere moments to set it up and now whenever I need a disc drive, I just plug it into the computer.
