I only use it to download my CDs to my iTunes and watch movies while traveling. It serves my purpose and didn't cost an arm and leg

I was able to load programs, play DVDs, and download music from CDs into iTunes, without difficulty

This is the perfect size, fitting inside my carrying bag. Just plug in and go if I ever need it.

Primarily to download programs on disk but was also able to use it to pass the time watching movies while my power was out during hurricane Matthew.

External disc drive for laptop

This unit uses a USB port for a temporary hookup, just plug it in and move your files.

This was a perfect, and cheaper, alternative to having it fixed. Plus,now both daughters can use it as new laptops do not have one included. Works great.
