It does work albeit with an USB 2.0 connection. S-L-O-W audio CD rip to iTunes. I got what I paid for...

This was almost a deal breaker driving me back to Apple. I had to buy this to be able to use the computer for my purposes.

Light weight

The second time I attempted to use it the drawer would not stay shut so it would not work. I had to hold the drive drawer closed so I could install the software on a second computer. I returned the drive and with no problems Best Buy replaced it with another one which I have not yet tried to use. I figure it was cost effective since I don't use a drive very often.

Very Effective!
