Well, we spent a lot of money at Best Buy this Christmas, 2 Laptops, bags, printer, etc, Cd player. We purchased a Samsung TV. Dec 24. My tv stopped working. Went to B.Buy in Riverdale, N.J. We needed a specific size tv to fit into my hutch. There was one tv left which the sales person said was an open box, never having purchased anything as an open box, I specifically asked 3 times if everything was in the box and then I would have no problem purchasing this tv. The sales person reassured me several times that everything was in the box. We get home with the tv, no instructions, no tv remote, no screws for the tv stand, etc. What the heck is this. Back to Best Buy to return, no one cared that they sold us this tv like this. Now, we had to go to Totowa, N.J. to purchase this tv. When we told the sales people there of our problem and how no one really cared at the Riverdale store, the manager gave us a $20.00 discount. He said that was all he could do and that Riverdale should of given us more in the form of a gift card. I want to commend the Totowa store for their excellent customer service. His name was Tashawn and the sales person was Orlando. They were both excellent. At the Riverdale Store no one even apologized to us and like I said, I spent a lot of money at Best Buy this Christmas. This was terrible how we were treated and had to run around because of poor customer Service. My husband and I are senior citizens and this was very appalling to us as we buy everything at Best Buy. Now I have to reconsider this and go elsewhere. So, I hope you can improve on your customer service and have your sales people tell the truth. I would of paid full price for the tv as we ended up doing. It was not about the discount for the open box. Why sell an open box when everything is missing even the cable connection wires. I am really just upset with everything that happened to us. Thanks You . You can look up the record for the tv it is on our charge along with all of the other things we purchased at Christmas. Susan

The product seems to function as first generation new technology, although CD writing has been around for decades. I was disappointed, I am a big LG fan but this product was average, it made noises, it took a minute for it to open up. I feel I could have bought this product 10 years ago and would have gotten same results. Pay a bit more and for for the top of the line product if you are in need of a writer.

This drive is pretty user friendly. I am a moderate computer user at best. I was able to get it set up and running with a minimal degree of difficulty and effort. It works great. I love it!

I like how it can be used on any time of system. I also enjoy that I am not limited, because of my laptop did not have a cd/dvd drive. Now I can upload systems or watch films if I need too.

I got this CD/DVD drive to go with a Lenovo Y700 gaming laptop. It work quietly and it seems to load quickly. I like that is very thin and light. If you need one this is it.

I followed the installation instructions and it worked. I haven't used it much, but so far it has been OK. For me, it would be convenient if the USB cable were a bit longer.

This ultraslim external DVD works well and is great for travel, not requiring two USB ports (one for power) makes it great for ultraportables that have only one or two ports.

This CD drive works well and does all it should. I like that it's slim so it's easy to put in a laptop case and take with me. The price was also very good. Glad I bought it!

This CD drive gets the job done and at a great price! Whether you are running Windows or OS X, this is works on both! I suggest this one over the Apple one, save yourself some cash! ;)

Comes with all your needs, I'm a college student and bought a laptop that I can use at school. It has everything I need for a great price, highly recommend buying if you're a student.

I wanted a minimum footprint CD/DVD reader and writer to travel with my new Lenovo Yoga 2 11. I got it with this LG product. It is light and about as small as it could be. Perfect for me.

I love how I can take this with me & use it on any PC. My laptop doesn't have a cd drive & I got this in case I needed to do something with a disk. It's come in handy. Great purchase.

The package says it works with Mac, but the installation cd is Windows only. I checked the website to download the program for mac, and it did not exist. Had to returned it.

Simple, yet fulfils necessary function. Easy to setup, plugs in to laptop via usb port. Once plugged in, sets up like any other drive. Works fine, just as if built in.

This was our first time using DVD write product, and we found this to be very user-friendly, great instructions. The Best Buy rep was helpful in our selection as well.

My laptop, as many new ones, does not have a CD/DVD drive so you have to get an external drive. I would buy this one again if I needed to. For the price, it is great.

I'm sure this CD drive does the job just fine, if it actually worked with the Chromebook I bought it to go with. Unfortunately I've waited too long to return it, so maybe eventually it'll be compatible with the Chromebook.

This is an easy setup and easy to use. I needed a dvd driver because the one on my laptop was a little slow and more difficult to use. This one fit the bill and is easy to understand.
