I have yet to use this unit as a burner, but I've used it now on two different laptops and it works great as a reader of both data and movies. A fine product for the price.

My new laptop doesn't have an optical drive so I purchased this to use when the need arises, just plugged it in and it worked like it came with the laptop.

My new MacBook Pro does not have an internal disk so I purchased this item in order to do my taxes with Turbo Tax. A great compliment to any computer without internal disk.

Nowadays most laptops and notebooks don't have a dvd drive. I needed to install software that I had the cds for. This worked perfectly. Plug and play and ready to work.

Nice and slim and not at all in the way. Burns pretty quickly. Feels a little cheap, because of the plastic housing, but haven't had any problems with wear.

A little bit difficult to open up but otherwise functional and inexpensive. I don't use a lot of DVDs or CDs so I didn't want to spend a lot on such a drive.

This product does what it is supposed to. I have no problem with it except it's a little louder than I'd like. Other than that it's great. I would recommend!

Given the fact that the Envy 360 does not provide a drive, this allows me to add software and to access data that I have on a CRW disc. Excellent tool at a fair price.

This item works great. My DVD cd drive broke and this thing works absolutely great could not have purchased a better item.

After shopping online for the best deals, this was the best deal, and I didn't have to drive far to make the purchase.....

We bought this to work with a tablet but it didn't do well. We had to purchase a separate Y-power cord and it still would not work with the tablet. This is not a good product to use with a tablet.

I love this! It works just like a DVD player should. I had to purchase this because my laptop didn't come with a DVD drive.

I got a new laptop without a cd/DVD drive. I purchased this product to transfer old files and pictures that had been saved on cd's. It worked just fine.

I wasn't sure what I was going to do without a dvd drive in the computer until the sales person recommended this product. It was very easy to use and worked great!!
