needed an external cd rom because my New HP doesn't have one built in. Works like it is supposed to so thus far no complaints.

This drive is very light weight and does the job. I would Purchase a protective case for it because it's so light weight but great for travel. Works like a charm.

Docking stations have changed over the years!! It's been 10 years since I bought one. Works fine. Easily replaceable if something goes bad.

It's the cheapest dvd writer that Best Buy had and it works for both pc and Mac. Does what it's supposed to do what more could you ask for?

newest laptop came with no disc capability so had to buy external. this one does what it says it will do so what is not to be satisfied?

I bought this because my all in one does not have a CD drive to be able to install a program. It worked okay for that, but not much else. I can't watch DVDs on it because it can't read them. It was the cheapest one I could find because I was in a pinch, so it did what I bought it for. I would say it was worth what I paid for it.

The DVD writer is compact but too light. Requires both hands to open and close the tray. Otherwise, seems to be a good product..

Our Macbook Pro and our Toshiba PC don't have DVD drives. This is a great solution for us in our home office. Good price and easy to use.

Works well, is very slim and its reasonably quiet when its working; got it for USD 29 and I think it's good value for money.

I needed a quick external CD burner as the newer Apple Pros dont have them. This was a great and inexpensive fix to my cd burning issues

This Samsung Ultra-Slim DVD Drive is an excellent addition to my laptop. It is compact and lightweight which makes it great for traveling.

Alienware no longer puts dvd drive in it Alienware Lap Tops. I purchased this one from Best Buy. Works great reads disks and plays DVDs.

It works. For being inexpensive I like it but I expected it to allow me to watch DVD movies and it doesn't. Maybe it is capable but I got tired of trying to figure it out.
