This DVD rom is easy to use and is good to have with the newer apple products because they don't put DVD roms in their machines anymore.

I had to buy this because my new lap top didn't have a drive. I'm a teacher, so many resources are still on discs. It worked like a charm!

Works great, reads faster than expected. Haven't had any issues yet. It is a little loud, but not a problem for the amount of time I use.

I purchased a similar LG DVD External Drive 9 months ago at Best Buy in Canada. The product was faulty - despite several return trips to Best Buy - the product continued to give problems. I purchased another similar LG DVD external drive in the USA - this product works perfectly and is so user friendly. Unfortunately Best Buy USA does not recognize purchases from Best Buy Canada. I contacted LG - I will have to return my faulty product to Best Buy in Canada. It is unknown what the outcome will be.

It is perfect for all of the new computers that do not ship with cd/DVD drives. I use them mostly with Microsoft Surface Pro.

Took it out of the box, plugged it in to my laptop and it worked perfectly. No need to download any drivers. Just a good plug and play!

I plugged it in and inserted the DVDs needed to run a specific program. No problem easy to use.

I found the cd reader very easy to use. I am not technically proficient and was happy to find this product, easy to use.

External Usb Dvd±rw/cd-rw Drive is truly complimentary to my Dell Latitude E7250 which is mostly my business laptop for travel ease.

Now that all laptops don't have a Cd drive, this one is just perfect, I love it.. there's also a blu ray model if you are interested

The only thing I use this for is ripping CD's on my Mac Mini. It does everything I need it to do and the price was right!

Bought this to go along with my new MacBookPro. I just used it to put a disk in my computer to do taxes. Works like a dream!
