There is nothing extraordinary about this drive. It's a plug and play drive, works well with my windows laptop, and reads my music CDs just fine.This has worked well so far.

Replacing my iMac DVD burner.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The DVD burner on my older iMac would burn CD's but it wouldn't burn DVDs. Repairing an iMac is a pain because you have to take the entire unit in to the Apple store to get it worked on. I had an Apple Superdrive that I used with my Apple Laptop but it wouldnt work with the older iMacs, so I picked up this inexpensive DVD burner and it has worked great. The only issue I see is that it feels cheaply made. Its super light weigh plastic, but it has worked like a champ!
